Paytm employee in Gurgaon tests positive for coronavirus

Paytm, one of India’s leading digital payment banks said in a statement on Wednesday that the employee had recently returned from Italy. There has been a sudden increase in coronavirus cases in the country. An employee of Paytm has been found infected with the coronavirus.

The company has given this information through a tweet. According to the company, the test report of an employee of its Gurugram office has been found positive for the virus. According to the company, these workers had recently returned from Italy.

According to the company, the employee is undergoing treatment, while the company has also advised other employees working with that employee in the office to undergo health tests. At the same time, the company has asked the employees to work from home until the office cleaning is complete.

There have been 29 virus-infected patients in India, more than half of it is tourists from Italy. At the same time, two people have returned from Italy. Out of the total 29 cases, 3 are virus-free. According to the government, about 100 people who are in contact with patients are currently being monitored.

Paytm decided to shut down its offices in UP’s Noida and Gurugram for at least two days in order to sanitize and fumigate the offices.
