Aakash Institute Founder – J.C. Chowdhury Bought A Delhi-NCR Bungalow And Flats Worth 200 Crores INR
November 30, 2022: Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) Founder and Chairman Emeritus J.C. Chowdhury bought a bungalow in Delhi’s posh Greater Kailash area and three apartments in Gurugram for Rs. Bought for 200 crores.

Greater Kailash Bungalow was purchased from Infinity Buildwell and is spread over an area of 1,000 square yards. Neha Bansal, the co-founder of retailer Lenskart, recently bought a 400 sq ft bungalow in the same area for Rs 22 crore, the report added, citing two unnamed sources.
Earlier this year, the founder co-promoter, and managing director of Akash Sanstha in Delhi’s Kautilya Marg area raised Rs. 137 crores bought a 1,300 square meter bungalow, while a 5-acre farmhouse in Delhi cost Rs. 137 crores was bought.
He had earlier spent Rs. A 2000 square yard property was purchased for 100 crores. The Chaudhary family’s major real estate investments follow a $950-million deal in which Akash Institute was acquired by edtech platform Byju.
A $950-million deal with Byju was announced in April 2021. The Byju Raveendran-led company said in an earlier statement that Akash has grown by over 100% since its acquisition.
Founded in the year 1988 as a single center with only 12 students, Akash was conceived by Jesse Chowdhury.
Educational Services Company is one of the earliest players in India’s organized test preparatory services industry.
According to the company’s website, the company has more than 200 learning centers, and the number of students is more than 250,000.
