Can you tell us about your journey leading up to the founding of Pierag? What inspired you to start this global consulting firm?

Abhishek Gupta: Pierag Consulting LLP, a global consulting firm, was established in February 2021 by Abhishek Gupta and Pierian Services Pvt Ltd. Headquartered in Gurugram, the company also has offices in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bangalore, and Washington DC.

With Pierian Services as a founding partner, Pierag carries forward the legacy of 20 years despite being new in the sector. Furthermore, Abhishek Gupta’s leadership brings invaluable experience in building the largest assurance team for EY America along with other accolades.

In March 2021, with only having around 5 people on board, a prominent US-based Management consulting firm in the US became our first client for Risk and Accounting Advisory Services. This marked the beginning of Pierag’s remarkable journey.

Venturing further, Pierag got one of the top Public Accounting firms in the US and by August 2021, Pierag expanded exponentially to serve one of the world’s largest Venture Capital firms. In July 2022, a new chapter unfolded as Pierag engaged with Baker Tilly-US, -one of the top 10 global public accounting firms.

Currently, Pierag boasts of working with some of the most renowned names across the industries which includes India’s largest Airline, the World’s largest e-commerce company (resellers), and One of the largest Solar companies in the US.

What started as a start-up has now become one of the fastest-growing organizations in the space of Assurance and Advisory services.
