Adani Wilmar bags four honours at CII Food Safety Award 2021

Ahmedabad: FMCG major Adani Wilmar Limited’s four processing units have bagged prestigious honours at the 12th CII Food Safety Award 2021.

Instituted by industry body Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Food Safety Awards are aimed at motivating the Indian food industry to reach new standards of food safety and quality.

The awards showcased internationally benchmarked practices on food safety in micro, small, medium and large food businesses.

Adani Wilmar’s Mangalore Refinery and Kakinada Refinery were awarded commendation certificates for “Significant Achievement in Food Safety”. 

The Neemuch Besan unit and Mundra Rice unit were bestowed with the commendation certificates for “Strong Commitment to Sector Specific Good Manufacturing Practices”.

“It is truly an honour to win not just one or two, but four commendation certificates at the prestigious CII Food Safety Award 2021.
