Mr. Bhutak, what inspired you to start Go-Fab Genesis, and how did your journey in the hair care industry begin?
Akash Bhutak: Manisha has always been passionate about hair. She even did a course at BBlunt, and after that, she got into hairstyling for wedding shoots and celebrity shoots. But what stood out was when she worked with her clients.
They constantly talked about hair health. She would suggest a few products and coloring tips, but we both saw a bigger need there.
With my background in ingredients and formulation and her expertise in hair health, we thought—why not create a product that genuinely improves hair health for everyone
What sets Go-Fab Genesis apart from other players in the hair care manufacturing industry?
Akash Bhutak: So, when we set out to create our product, we knew there were already other brands focused on hair health. Many products in the market help maintain elasticity, but we wanted to go beyond that. Our product not only supports elasticity but also enhances thickness.
Another thing we noticed—most sprays are designed either for hair or just for the scalp. We decided to change that by creating a spray that works for both, giving complete care in one solution.

Akash Bhutak: By attending trade exhibitions, we gain valuable exposure to key ingredients and their suppliers. Since ingredients are the foundation of any product, these events play a crucial role in discovering new materials and forging partnerships that drive our innovation
What do you think are the biggest challenges faced by hair care manufacturers today, and how do you tackle them?
Akash Bhutak: One of the biggest challenges hair care manufacturers face today is balancing innovation with safety and efficacy.
Consumers demand products that deliver instant, visible results, but ensuring these products are safe, effective, and sustainable requires extensive research and development. Another challenge is ingredient sourcing—finding high-quality, ethical, and sustainable raw materials while keeping costs manageable.
We tackle these challenges by prioritizing innovation through science-backed formulations, focusing on extensive testing for both performance and safety.
Additionally, we stay ahead by attending global trade exhibitions and collaborating with trusted suppliers to source premium, sustainable ingredients. This allows us to create unique, multifunctional products that meet modern consumer needs without compromising quality.
What advice would you give aspiring entrepreneurs looking to enter the beauty or personal care manufacturing space?
Akash Bhutak: My advice for aspiring entrepreneurs in beauty and personal care is simple: focus on solving real problems with innovative, high-quality products. Understand your ingredients deeply—they’re the foundation of everything.
Build trust by prioritizing quality over quick profits, and always stay curious. This industry evolves fast, so continuous learning and adaptability are key. Above all, be passionate, persistent, and driven by purpose—success follows those who combine vision with relentless execution.
