From student to parent, Bhanu Garg shares her inspiring connection with the school

Bhanu, as an alumna, how does it feel to have your children studying at your alma mater?

It’s a deeply rewarding experience. Walking into the school and seeing Yashica in Class 8 and Kavish in UKG reminds me of my own school days. Apeejay School was like a second home to me, and I’m thrilled my children are experiencing the same nurturing environment.

Do you have any fond memories from your school days?

Absolutely! The annual day celebrations and sports meets were particularly special. I still remember the joy of receiving books as prizes and the camaraderie during sports events.

These moments fostered a sense of community and belonging that I cherish to this day. The friendships I made at Apeejay School have stood the test of time, and I’m grateful for them.

How do you feel the school is preparing your children for the future?

I’m very impressed with how the school balances tradition with modernity. My children are not only excelling academically but are also encouraged to pursue their passions through various extracurricular activities.

Yashica is developing a love for science, and Kavish enjoys storytelling—all thanks to the supportive teachers and opportunities provided. The values of discipline, respect, and hard work they’re learning will undoubtedly prepare them for the challenges ahead.
