Bharti AXA Life Insurance appoints Parag Raja as MD & CEO

Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Limited, a leading life insurance company in India, announced the appointment of Parag Raja as Managing Director and CEO of the company.

A leading private life insurance company in India, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, has aopinted a new Managing Director and CEO, Parag Raja, who has nearly two decades experience in life insurance industry. Parag Raja was the Chief Distribution Officer at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.

Parag Raja, founding members of Max Life Insurance will succeed Vikas Seth, who led Bharti AXA Life Insurance for the past two-and-a-half years, after April 30. This is subject to regulatory approval. He worked with the Max Life Insurance for 15 years.

Parag Raja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from HR College. He is a Post Graduate in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He holds a Master degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai.

Bharti AXA is a joint venture between multinational insurance firm AXA and Bharti Enterprises. From the April 1, 2019, to February 29, 2020, the life insurance company collected Rs 750.73 crore first year premium.
