Prayagraj, February 11, 2026: Continua Kids, a leading multidisciplinary paediatric and neurodevelopment care network, has announced the launch of its 36th OPD centre in India with the opening of a new multispeciality facility in Prayagraj.
This expansion marks another milestone in the brand’s mission to make structured early-intervention and specialised child development services accessible beyond metro cities.
Until now, families in Prayagraj and nearby districts often had to travel to larger metropolitan cities to seek specialised paediatric neurology and developmental care – frequently involving multiple visits, long waiting periods, and considerable emotional and financial strain.
The newly opened Continua Kids OPD centre aims to bridge this critical gap by delivering integrated, expert-led care closer to home, ensuring timely diagnosis and consistent therapy for children.
The Prayagraj centre will offer a comprehensive range of services under one roof, enabling parents to access coordinated care and evidence-based interventions without the burden of long-distance travel.
With this launch, Continua Kids continues to strengthen its national footprint while reaffirming its commitment to inclusive, accessible, and high-quality child healthcare across India.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Puja Kapoor, Co-Founder and Paediatric Neurologist, Continua Kids, said,“We have seen first-hand how difficult it is for families to travel long distances for repeated consultations and therapies.
Children with developmental and neurological issues require continuity of care, and frequent travel often becomes a barrier.
With the Prayagraj centre, our intent is simple, to understand these challenges and bring specialised, coordinated care to families at their doorstep, so no child misses timely support because of geography.”
The centre was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. J V Rai, Senior Paediatrician, and Dr. Naveen Kumar, Consulting Paediatric Cardiologist, reflecting Continua Kids’ multispeciality and collaborative approach to child healthcare.
Dr. J V Rai noted, “Early identification and timely intervention are critical in paediatric care. A multispeciality centre like Continua Kids in Prayagraj will help ensure children receive structured evaluation and coordinated treatment without avoidable delays.”
Addressing the regional need for accessible care, Dr. Naveen Kumar added,“Families in this region have long depended on metro cities for specialised paediatric services. Continua Kids’ presence in Prayagraj is an important step in making comprehensive child healthcare more accessible and sustainable for families.”
Dr. Jayanti, Paediatric Neurologist, along with Dr. Naveen Kumar, will be overseeing clinical operations and coordinated child care at the Prayagraj Continua Kids OPD Centre, ensuring continuity, quality, and evidence-based clinical practices.
The centre offers paediatric neurology, developmental paediatrics, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, special education, physiotherapy, and clinical psychology under one roof, with a strong focus on early screening, personalised therapy planning, and long-term developmental outcomes.
As part of its broader clinical and research-led work, Continua Kids is developing face-detection, supported assessment systems and a quality-of-life prognosis framework for autism, aimed
at better understanding functional progress over time. These initiatives are currently under development and will be formally introduced at a later stage.
In addition, Continua Kids is working on a digital application platform to support coordinated care and progress tracking. The Android version is currently ready, while the iOS version is under development, with a comprehensive launch planned once both platforms are available.
Located at Sobhatiyabagh (opposite Gita Niketan), above Bhumi Scanning Centre, the Continua Kids OPD Centre will serve families across Prayagraj and neighbouring districts, significantly reducing the need to travel to metro cities for specialised developmental care.
The opening of the Prayagraj centre reinforces Continua Kids’ commitment to early intervention, empathy-led care, and outcome-focused paediatric services in India’s Tier-II cities.
