Divya is a Bengaluru-base woman entrepreneur who was born in 1987 in an educated family. Her father is a Nephrologist with Apollo Hospital, and her mother was a programming executive with the broadcasting company Doordarshan, as born in an educated family. She was very much concerned about her studies. She was the only child of her parents.
Divya Gokulnath had completed her schooling at Frank Anthony Public School and completed a bachelor degree in Biotechnology from RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru in 2007.
After completed her graduation, she started tuitions for GRE. There she met Byju Raveendran, and by her influence, she started teaching in Byju’s. She taught mathematics, English and logical reasoning.
How she uplifted her career?
Divya Gokulnath’s career started in 2008 when she started teaching with Byju’s. later her work was appreciated and the company offered in-person education to support school education.
In 2015 her career moved up, and Byju’s launched an online application with a video lesson. There Diya will appear in videos as a teacher.
Divya also writes online. She wrote on topics related to education like the future of education, parenting, and women’s participation in Stem Fields. She has spoken in many events related to challenges that come with women entrepreneurs.
She has also written a co-article with Byju Raveendran In Vogue India about educational technologies.
Working with Byju Raveendran, she got an affair with Raveendran, and later they got married. The couple living and working together and combinedly they make worth $ 3.05B.
Divya’s husband, Byju Raveendran, and his brother Riju Raveendran unitedly make this achievement.
Divya Gokulnath lives in a joint family of 11 members, including her young son. she later gave birth to another child at the beginning of 2021.
How she works in pandemic days of corona
She works long day in the office, but in pandemic 2020-2021. she works from home. Handling her 2 children, she takes online classes, meetings and record videos at night when kids are asleep. Despite her hit schedule, she gives time to her newborn child.
Her hard work shows that she is so much dedicated.

Byju’s also offers to learn through an application and website for competitive exams like JEE, CAT, NEET and IAS. And also offer classes for 1 to 12. In pandemic time 2020, lots of children attached with Byju’s for studies.

The Company launched its flagship product, the BYJU’S- The learning application for class 4 to 12 in 2015.
Today this app covers over 42 million registration and 3 million annual paid subscriptions. The app provides learning with fun and visual lessons.
Divya Gokulnath makes different strategies to boost up the app so that the app should know in-between every child.
She collaborated with the school and gave free education through this app and provide code to the school.
This strategy works and many students enrolled with Byju’s for studies and like the application.
The company is backed up by several prominent investors like Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, Sofina Verlinvest, IFC, Aarin Capital, TimesInternet, Lightspeed Ventures, Tiger Global Atlantic, Tencent, Sequoia Capital, Owl Ventres, Naspers, CPPIB and Qatar Investment Authority.
Divya is now a famous personality, her hardship took her in the place of recognition. In 2019 and 2000, she was a top voice on Linkedin.
In 2020 she was covered up by Business today As a Most Powerful Women in an Indian Business. In 2020 she was on a Femina Power list.
She also gets recognition from the American magazine Forbes. And 2021 brings with it the power of superwomen. She makes India Conference, entrepreneur of the Year and women who makes India Awards.
