December 21st, 2021 – DP World, a leading provider of smart supply chain solutions, invests in its Mundra terminal in Gujarat to enhance infrastructure, improve efficiency and reliability, reiterating its commitment to modernize the port and logistics sector in the country.
DP World has added two new state-of-the-art Super-Post Panamax Quay Cranes to its existing fleet, highlighting the Mundra Terminal’s ability to handle increasingly large container ships with rapid turnaround.
Equipped with the latest technology, these Super-Post-Panamax cranes have 22 container and twin lifts, making it easier to handle ultra-large vessels, creating greater capacity, and thus meeting more sophisticated customer requirements.
The cranes have a built-in Remote Crane Management System (RCMS) that enables advanced planning for maintenance and enhances the availability and reliability of equipment, thereby reducing downtime and increasing overall terminal efficiency.
