Dr. Akanksha Singh is the Senior Cosmetologist at SENS Clinic and has been practicing aesthetics and cosmetology from the last 10 years. She is a celebrity and injectable expert and a dental surgeon by profession.
Tell us a little about yourself
Dr Akanksha Singh: I am the Senior Cosmetologist at SENS Clinic and has been practicing aesthetics and cosmetology from the last 12 years. I am a celebrity and injectable expert and a dental surgeon by profession.
In a career spanning more than 10 years, I have worked with renowned beauty clinics & hospitals such as VLCC (Jammu & Kashmir), Dermatech, CGHS dispensary, Pachouli, Orane International, La Midas, Neelkanth Hospital, SGT College, Asian Hospital (Faridabad & Chennai), Apollo Hospital (Mumbai) & Analone (Chennai).
I hold Diploma in oral surgery & fellowship in medical cosmetology. I also hold Diploma in Facial Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Metal Toxicology and Chelation Therapy.
For my achievements/ accomplishments in the domain, I have been awarded with Delhi Police Award.
I am the owner of Amyra Aesthetics Clinic and also owns training institute IAAM. On the personal front, I am blessed with little angle.
Please tell us a little about your business journey.
Dr Akanksha Singh: My business journey started in 2012 with a small clinic. After working with CGHS dispensary, I entered facial aesthetic and cosmetology masters. I am now a certified trainer and doctor.

What was the inspiration behind turning cosmetologists?
Dr Akanksha Singh: Making people beautiful is my biggest inspiration for becoming a cosmetologist. My inspiration behind turning cosmetologist was my passion for beauty and helping others feel confident and beautiful.
As a cosmetologist, I am able to work with clients one-on-one, understand their unique needs and concerns, and provide them with personalized solutions to help them look and feel their best.
I realized that pursuing a career in cosmetology would allow me to combine my passion for beauty with my desire to help others.
What have been some of your failures and what have you learned from them?
Dr Akanksha Singh: In the beginning, I was not able to make good analysis. However, over time, I have acquired this skill which is helping me in my growth as a professional.
What are some of the biggest mistakes you have made?
Dr Akanksha Singh: I over trust people and that’s what I think is the biggest mistake.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Dr Akanksha Singh: My advice to someone just starting out is to keep your focus in place because it will help in achieving success and grow in the long run.
