Dr. Nirali Patel is a Dental Surgeon, & Oral Implantologist (Fellow of ICOI, USA) and Cosmetic Dentist ( Certified Digital Smile Designer,Spain).

She has an experience of more than 12 years and she has opened 2 dental centers in Ahmedabad.She is Specialized in Digital Smile Design & Full Mouth Rehabilitation with Dental Implants, veneers, crown and bridge, clear aligner treatments for adults and children. 

Smile Craft Dental Studio is Gujarat’s first High tech Digital Smile Design Studio. Dr. Nirali Patel was awarded by 3 prestigious awards ‘Best Clinical Practice in India’ by Famdent, a prestigious dental body of India, Best Dentist & Smile Care Expert of the Year 2021-2022 by Divya Bhaskar Gujarat and Best Multispeciality Dental Center in Ahmedabad by Navgujarat Samay 2020.

Can you tell us about your background and what led you to become a dental surgeon and oral implantologist?

Dr Nirali Patel: I am an accomplished dental surgeon and oral implantologist with a passion for smile enhancement. Since childhood, coming from background of professionals, I have had a dream of becoming a doctor, and I always excelled in school to achieve this goal.

After completing my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dharmsinh Desai University, I pursued a Post-Graduate certificate Program in Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Implantology as well from Manipal College of Dental Science to further develop my skills.

Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by the power of a beautiful smile to improve people’s lives. As a certified Digital Smile Designer (DSD, Spain), I am committed to providing my patients with the highest level of care.

My dedication to the field has earned me a fellowship from the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).

I feel grateful to be able to pursue my passion and make a difference in the lives of my patients. I hope to inspire others to follow their dreams and work hard to achieve their goals.

Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey

Dr Nirali Patel: I have always dreamed of starting my own state-of-the-art dental practice to make a significant difference in the field of dentistry.

However, it wasn’t easy in the beginning, especially as a female entrepreneur, to juggle my personal and professional commitments. But I was determined to make my vision a reality. I am into practice since 2011 and under the name of my hospital in Ahmedabad named Smile Craft Dental Studio since 2015.

Over time, with hard work and dedication, I have managed to grow my practice in such a way that we have established ourselves as a leading name in the field of dentistry in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

My commitment to excellence, combined with my skills and pioneering spirit in adopting the latest technology, has allowed us to become Gujarat’s first Digital Smile Design Center.

By adapting in-house CAD CAM facilities, we have been able to offer our patients the latest and most advanced treatment options available.

We are proud to provide our patients with personalized care, combining cutting-edge technology and the latest techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.

My entrepreneurial journey has been challenging, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. I am grateful to have the opportunity to pursue my passion and make a difference in the lives of my patients.

How do you stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental surgery and implantology, and incorporate them into your practice?

Dr Nirali Patel: As a dental surgeon and oral implantologist, I believe in the constant upgradation and growth of self and my business.

To ensure that my practice stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental surgery and implantology, I make it a priority to learn at least one new skill each year or adapt a new technique every year of my professional journey.

Staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry allows me to remain ahead of the competition and offer my patients the highest quality care possible.

By keeping up with the latest research and attending conferences and seminars, I can incorporate new techniques and procedures into my practice, ensuring that my patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments available.

In addition to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental surgery and implantology, I also run my own private academy.

Through this academy, I have the opportunity to connect with experts in dentistry, bringing them directly to my doorstep.

This not only allows me to stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field but also provides me with access to a network of professionals with whom I can collaborate and share ideas.

Through my private academy, I can also offer continuing education and training to other dental professionals, helping to raise the standard of care in our field.

What are some common misconceptions people have about oral health, and how do you address them in your practice?

Dr Nirali Patel: At my practice, we believe in empowering our patients with accurate information about their oral health.

Unfortunately, there are many common misconceptions that people have about oral health. Here are a few of the most common misconceptions we encounter and how we address them:

“I don’t have any oral health issues, so I don’t need to see a dentist regularly.”

Many people believe that they only need to see a dentist when they have a problem or are experiencing pain. However, regular dental check-ups and cleanings are essential for maintaining good oral health and catching any potential problems early.

We encourage our patients to schedule regular appointments, even if they feel that their oral health is in good condition.

This will allow us to provide premium and personalized quality care to a larger mass of people. Additionally, I plan to continue staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the field and incorporating the latest techniques into our practice.

I also aim to collaborate with other dental professionals and organizations to further advance the field of dental surgery and implantology.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a positive impact in the lives of our patients and the wider community, by promoting better oral health and improving overall wellbeing.
