Entrepreneurial Journey of Anu Meena, Woman Entrepreneur and Founder, CEO of AGROWAVE

Anu Meena Belongs to a small family from Village “Mangoli” in Rajasthan. She is from the village but her dreams were high. She has completed her schooling from a government Hindi medium school, which was in her village.

She had completed her graduation from IIT Delhi in 2016. She is hardworking and wants to do something for her village and villagers.

Her Grandfather was a farmer and facing lots of issues in his farmer life. Annu wants to do something for his Grandfather and for other farmers who are facing the same.

Annu has completed her Graduation and Post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology (B. Tech + M. Tech) from Delhi.

After completed her Master’s Degree, she worked in an American Startup for a very small period.

In 2017 she started AGROWAVE. Annu was a founder and CEO of AGROWAVE. To solve the problem of his Grandfather and other farmers.

She organised this program for helping farmers. Her program was attracted by many media, i.e. listed into Forbes 30 under 30 Asia, Top 10 innovator of India by India Today Magazine and list is going on…

She has done many public speaking for AGROWAVE. She has been a TEDx speaker, connect to next-generation Japan, done many conferences speaking and Speaker in many more events related to my work and inspired many young entrepreneurs through her journey. She has become a Mentor in many events to guide the people.

Annu was also awarded by the Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment for her public work. In 2019, she was also awarded by “Global Gandhi Award”. She is also a member of EC, IIT Delhi Alumni Association.

Agrowave assists and encourages Indian farmers. She observed her grandfather was struggling with logistics and pricing for his product in the market. He didn’t get a proper dealer for his product, and the farmers of her village have to compromise with the price.

This set the inspiration for AGROWAVE, and it cut -out the middle man and encourage farmer for their best price and become famous.

By her program farmer can deliver their fresh fruits & vegetables to retail shops, hostels, canteens and caterers at the best price and get many benefits.

Anu put together a team of a young entrepreneur. Payal Jawalkar and Arun Yadav are in her team and helped her with analytics and operation.  By her effort, farmers get $3.7Mn in 2020.
