Shweta Aggarwal

Shweta Aggarwals entrepreneurial journey to being a designer is a ‘Happy One’, one conversation with her and you would find that she is grounded and secure in following her label category.

Recalling her journey, she says her interest in fashion began when she was little as about 7 years old, and felt drawn towards it to pursue an academic education at JD institute of fashion designing.

However, what really impacted and gave ground learning was her term in assisting senior designers for three straight years which included Lakme events.

Following this due to few personal reasons she took a sabbatical from the fashion scene and began working in the interior designing space, only to come back with better and richer experience to launch her own label – Shweta Aggarwal.

Being a solo pilot for her label Shweta Aggarwal, Shweta and her small team have kept her designing pencil sharp and on cue to come up with designs that are contemporary couture made out-and-out for intimate celebrations, birthdays, evening soirées, modern brides and bridesmaids. These ensembles are intended to be picked by those who appreciate ‘actual’ designer couture work.

Shweta voices that the mission of her brand is “’Happiness’, finding cue from her own personal happiness, she strives to bring it at her work and workspace. Every outfit stitched by our team is a labor of love and our cherishing point is a happy customer.

Our designs are cued in balance wherein styles which are extra ordinary but don’t shout for attention – akin to a fragrance mentioning you have arrived, and we have in time developed a big spread catering to many individuals fashion taste.”

Shweta has chosen the gravel road by not letting business pressures mend her designing taste, in fact she has further innovated in her own category seeking out admirers in the unfolding market.

Her work ranges across prêt wear, giving complete solutions for Birthday parties, contemporary couture, lehengas, and gowns all with glam western touch.

For upcoming designers, she voices “Always choose a category you love doing, there is no joy is running your businesses if you are not happy with outfits designed; moreover being a good designer and business man are two different things, get the balance right for the long run!
