GAIL India announces reduction in CNG & PNG prices

April 10, 2023: GAIL Gas Limited has reduced the price of CNG used as vehicle fuel in Karnataka by Rs. 7 has been reduced. While in other areas, the price of CNG has been reduced by Rs 6 per kg.

GAIL Gas Ltd, following a cut in input gas prices on Sunday, saw prices of CNG and piped cooking gas rise by Rs. It was announced to reduce up to 7.

The company has increased the price of piped natural gas or PNG to households in Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada by Rs. 7 per standard cubic meter and in other cities where the company operates Rs. 6 per scheme has been reduced.

Similarly, the company said that the price of CNG has been reduced by Rs 7 per kg in Karnataka and Rs 6 per kg in other areas.

GAIL Gas Limited, the city gas distribution unit of the country’s largest gas company GAIL (India) Limited, has reduced the prices of CNG (CNG) and PNG (PNG).

Following the reduction in gas prices, the company on Sunday reduced the prices of CNG used in vehicles and piped LPG PNG (CNG-PNG price cut) by up to seven rupees.

GAIL has increased PNG gas prices in Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada by Rs. 7 has been reduced. At the same time, the company has reduced the PNG price by Rs 6 per unit in other cities where it operates.

Changes have been made under the new formula for natural gas prices

The company has taken this step after the government revised the natural gas pricing formula. The revised formula for gas pricing and the price cap has reduced the price of natural gas from $8.57 to $6.5 per million British thermal units.

Let us tell you that natural gas is converted into CNG fuel for vehicles and PNG for cooking in kitchens.

The company said in a statement that ‘Gail Gas Limited has announced a significant reduction in prices from April 9 to provide its customers with the benefit of new domestic gas prices.’

New price of CNG in Karnataka

GAIL Gas Limited has set the price of CNG used as vehicle fuel in Karnataka (CNG Price in Karnataka) at Rs. 7 has been reduced.

While in other areas, CNG price has been reduced by Rs 7 per kg. The new price of CNG for Dewas, Taj Trapezium area and Dehradun is RS. 92 per kg,  for Meerut and Sonepat is Rs 85 per kg.; For Mirzapur, Raisen, Dhanbad, Adityapur, Puri and Rourkela Rs. 91 per kg, for Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada Rs. 82.50 per kg.

Listen to the latest songs, only on JioSaavn.com Similarly, the new PNG rate per unit in Dewas, Meerut, Taj Trapezium area, Sonepat, Raisen, Dhanbad, Mirzapur, Adityapur and Rourkela will be Rs. 52.50 while for Dakshina Kannada and Bengaluru it will be Rs. 51.50 per unit.
