As part of this endeavour, we invited yet another passionate Indian entrepreneur Ganesh Verma, Entrepreneur and CEO of Cerebrum Infotech interview with us.
Tell us a little about yourself
Ganesh Verma: I am Ganesh Verma, CEO Cerebrum Infotech. I have a Masters degree in Computer Science and two decades of experience in serving various roles in the IT industry.
I come from a family background that values hard work, dedication, and believe in doing things ethically.
Watching my parents, I learnt that one must be skilled in a field and give 100% no matter what you are doing.
How did you get your idea or concept for the Cerebrum Infotech?
Ganesh Verma: Cerebrum Infotech is a subsidiary of Seasia Infotech, a CMMI Level 5 company. The idea behind Cerebrum Infotech was to provide top-notch on-demand solutions for diverse businesses around the world.
Our aim is to provide innovative and scalable solutions that can take the business of our clients towards excellence.
To realize our dream, we built the team of Cerebrum Infotech from scratch, where everybody is encouraged to share their ideas to make a difference in end products.
What service(s) or product(s) do you offer at Cerebrum Infotech?
Ganesh Verma: We have ready-to-use solutions that can be customized as per unique requirements of a business.
CereKart- the online ordering and delivery system for food, grocery, flower, laundry, medicine, and ecommerce businesses.
During the pandemic, we were approached by many professionals such as lawyers, psychologists, astrologers, dieticians, fitness trainers, etc. for an app solution, and we delivered by building CereConsult- the easy-to-use consultation app.
We also have CereHome, the robust home services app is utilized by various home service businesses.
Then we have CereEdtech, the education management system, which is used by different educational institutes to streamline, manage, as well as automate day-to-day operations and many recurring tasks.
In addition to that, we offer fleet management system, ride and rental app, marketplace app, etc.

Ganesh Verma: Cerebrum Infotech delivers you instantly, we ensure that you get the desired solution at the earliest. We never make any false claims. We deliver the best to our clients, who are spread across the globe.
What made you choose this type of IT business?
Ganesh Verma: From the very starting I was interested in software solutions; I chose my college education that allowed me to dive deep in the domain.
I was thrilled when I got a chance to use my creativity and learning to make robust app solutions after I completed my education.
Throughout my career, I was aware that IT filed is an ever-changing field and there are lot of innovations that happen in less time, and this is what excites me because it keeps you on your toes to learn new things.
Building different solutions for unique business needs is a rewarding experience, when you see businesses are doing great because of the hard work you put in to build a software product for them.
What was your mission at the outset?
Ganesh Verma: From the outset, the goal of the company was to provide solutions to customers by leveraging the cutting-edge technology.
We devised strategies to help clients have the best experience with Cerebrum Infotech. Initially, it took a lot of effort to understand how not to go wrong. Various hits and misses helped us to find a sustainable path for client satisfaction.
How many employees in your company?
Ganesh Verma: Currently, we have a team of 200 developers, testers, designers, and marketers. Our employees are the driving force of the company and are always ready to try their hands on different technologies.
At Cerebrum Infotech, we offer employee training programs from time to time so that they remain well-versed with changing trends.
What’s your company’s goals?
Ganesh Verma: Since the very beginning, the goal of Cerebrum Infotech is to build robust and scalable on-demand products for our clients all over the globe.
We strive hard to provide the best-in-class products and services to our clients. Moreover, we believe that it’s our duty to provide a clear communication to all our clients.
How do you build a successful customer base at Cerebrum Infotech?
Ganesh Verma: Well, there is no shortcut. The first and foremost thing for building a successful customer base is to provide great quality products to your clients.
Also, keep the communication open. Clients should be provided with every minute detail about the project progress.
At Cerebrum Infotech, we assign client advocates for every client, whose tasks is to ensure that clients don’t face any issue and if there are any queries or issues, they should be resolved at the earliest.
Frankly, this has helped us in providing a great customer experience, and clients always appreciate us for easing the whole “getting in touch process.”
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Ganesh Verma: Cerebrum Infotech has been in the business for over a decade and during the initial years, we were not big on marketing our products and services due to which our hard work was not recognized as much as it should have been.
We learn from our mistakes and set up a marketing team and things have been going great since then.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
Ganesh Verma: Neil Gunther, who developed the universal law of computational scalability is my biggest inspiration.
Among other things, his law explains about underlying dynamics behind agile teams and highly scalable organizations.
His desire for innovation is unmatchable and one can learn so much from his passion and will to keep improving.
What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?
Ganesh Verma: The biggest mistake that I can remember was to build a product first and asking customers about it later.
When you are building a product, it’s integral that you ask the target audience. It provides you clarity what solution they are looking for. Hence, you don’t have to waste time and money on a product that customers don’t even want.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Ganesh Verma: I would like to say to focus on one problem, learn what your target audience wants, innovate, and adjust quickly. There will be roadblocks but don’t give up.
Does your company help the community or society?
Ganesh Verma: Yes, we believe in giving back to the society. Every quarter, we conduct free workshops for college students to provide them hands on experience.
In addition to that, during the pandemic, we organized free vaccination camps for all.
