Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey as Dietitian

Garima Goyal: I have been practicing my knowledge in the field of health and nutrition since last six years, along with regularly brushing my knowledge from time to time.

My only and only aim is to serve the people in the best possible way and get a smile on their faces, may it be by helping them shed some kilos, or helping them to regulate blood sugar levels or raising the haemoglobin levels of an anaemic women etc.

This journey has been long and tough, and I think I am still travelling this rod of gaining the confidence of the nation for trusting me and my work to improve their lives.

Kindly brief us about your company, its specialization, and the services that it offers

Garima Goyal: I am a clinical dietitian and along with offering weight loss plans, I have my expertise in planning the diet for various health conditions such as diabetes, renal diseases, gastrointestinal issues such as Inflammatory bowel disease and inflammatory bowel syndrome, liver diseases.

Along with this, my target population is also athletes and weight lifters aiming for a dream physique, patients admitted in ICU and needing an enteral feeding plan and also infants and children for their weaning food and diet management while going to school.

What is your biggest USP

Garima Goyal: My uniqueness is whatever I offer or quote, its all research backed and not my own claims. I prefer to offer my clients everything that is genuine.

I don’t play with the bodies for quicker results and better image rather I treat the clients body the same way as I do with myself.

What made you choose this type of business?

Garima Goyal: It has never appealed me to get everything from my parents hard earning money. Since the beginning, I was always willing to stand on my own feet and coming in this field of health gave me a realisation that people need to learn to worship their bodies with dedication and commitment, for which they need immense guidance because there are various bogus nutritionists propagandising wrong foods. And this gave beginning to my journey.

What was your mission and vision at the outset?

Garima Goyal: My mission is to help anyone needy with research backed solutions and immense guidance and motivation.

And my vision is to spread the awareness about the benefit of a dietitian in your life, rather than taking the matters into your own hands and thinking you can take care of your diet and health very well on your own. I envision to gain popularity not my by name but by my work.

What is your Leadership Mantra

Garima Goyal: I began this journey alone and with years passing, I took help from my juniors and colleagues by offering them works such as planning a diet or writing an article.

Its just to boost the beginners and build confidence in them. It was just me and a graphic designer initially, who used to create creatives for social media. But today, we have 10-12 employees in our organisation.

What’s your company’s goals?

Garima Goyal: Our short term goals include helping the clients coming to us in the best possible way we can and guiding them to achieve the best results they need.

For long term goals, we work towards spreading awareness about correct health facts and discarding the fads and myths prevalent among people. Knowledge and awareness spread among masses is our goal.

What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur

Garima Goyal: Using my long years of education in the real time practice and helping the people seeking help from me for their body issues via diets boosted me to be an entrepreneur.

What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?

Garima Goyal: No one’s journey is complete without failures. There was a time I was just workaholic- no social life, no family time- just work. I have learned and realised with time- its important to give time to yourselves and your family, they are the first priority. Work comes next!

Key things to consider before starting a startup

Garima Goyal: It’s just the intent to start. Don’t be harsh on yourselves and don’t set unrealistic goals. Start and go with the flow.

Whatever is meant for you, will show up on its own in your journey. Like, I didn’t even know what was a logo and website, when I started, and within 1 year of my work, I had both of them. So start working, give you 100% and don’t aim to be a perfectionist!

What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?

Garima Goyal: Not making proper work contracts and paying people in advance.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Garima Goyal: Always trust your instincts. If you feel doing a thing one way will benefit, never listen to anyone’s advice and follow your gut. Your intuition leads you to the correct path always and never try to imitate anyone. Be your own self and you start attracting people.

Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs

Garima Goyal: World doesn’t want to see duplicates, rather be your own version. Your uniqueness from the rest will catch the eye. Study your market and target the thing which others are not offering and that people need more.

Also there is no right age to begin. Education never ends. You learn a lot in this entrepreneurship journey. So begin whenever you feel like.
