India’s third-largest software services company, HCL Technologies to set up global delivery center in Colombo, Sri Lanka
It is a matter of great pride that HCL Technologies, an Indian multinational information technology service and consulting company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh will soon enter the market of Sri Lanka.
The company has signed the pact with Sri Lanka’s board of investment to establish the global delivery center in Colombo. Through the set up of this center, HCL’s will offer Applications & System Integration Services, Infrastructure Services, and Digital Process Operations to its global customers.
HCL Technologies is India’s third-largest software services. With its expansion in Sri Lanka, the company aims to create employment, train the local talent and provide resources to develop the region. Also, the new set up will help the company to serve its global clients from this new region.
The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka is also quite optimistic about the HCL’s global delivery center as Sri Lanka is one of the best destinations to provide off-shore services for Information Technology Enabled Service (ITEs) as well as services related to Finance and Accounting, Legal, Insurance, Banking, and Telecommunications.
Hence, the establishment of HCL Technologies will uplift the spirits of the local IT talent and help them achieve their dreams.
