Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar

An interview with Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar – Author, Columnist, Yoga Master, Spiritual Leader, and Founder of Akshar Yoga Kendraa

In this enlightening interview, Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar shares his profound insights on India’s pivotal role in global wellness and the significance of Prime Minister Modi’s ‘One World, One Health’ vision for International Yoga Day 2025.

As a revered yoga master and spiritual leader, Akshar emphasizes the transformative power of yoga in fostering unity and holistic health worldwide.

You’re about to create history by attempting 12 Guinness World Records—what inspired this monumental idea?

Akshar Yoga Kendraa has been organizing such programs annually for the last 10 years since the establishment of International Yoga Day. In earlier years, we hosted large -scale skill ceremonies and saw how introducing a competitive element created a large part of enthusiasm and energy among the participants.

A standout event was when we organized 300 Surya Namaskar (Surya Namaskar). It took about 6 to 6.5 hours to complete, and the effect was unprecedented.

Not only did it focus discipline and focus for the students, but it also deepened all yoga physicians involved. It became clear that a healthy competition could motivate people to pursue their limits and discover their real ability.

We have already set 9 Guinness World Records in the past, and the attempt of 12 Guinness World Records of this year is a continuation of that journey. Inspiration stems from the success and positivity of our earlier events.

We have been preparing intensely for the past months, and we believe that this initiative will be a glorious moment for India on the global stage.

How does this initiative align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s global vision for Yoga?

Yoga is a deep part of India’s cultural heritage-it is a gift from India to the whole world, which promotes goodness and harmony. Our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji understood it deeply and took a visionary step by starting yoga on the global stage.

It was through his initiative that, in 2015, the United Nations officially recognized International Yoga Day, which marks a historic moment of global acknowledgment.

This initiative is fully aligned with Modi’s vision of “One World, One Health” through Yoga. Their idea leads to the power of yoga in the creation of a healthy, united world.

With our upcoming incident, we are proud to embrace this vision. Participants from many countries- Japan, France, UK, USA, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and many more, who are being specially prepared for this program, are joining us.

It is important to feel that when a person in a domestic person also practices yoga, the positive effect spreads throughout the family. When such practices occur globally, imagine the wave effect. This is the power of yoga.

Through this massive initiative, we believe that the International Day of Yoga 2025 will witness the world to come together-will determine itself for peace, power and unity through Yoga.

What message are you hoping to send to the world through this mega-attempt?

This mega-attempt is to guide people to the importance of establishing and advancing meaningful goals. Our message to the world is simple yet powerful: set a goal for ourselves, and then move towards it with complete dedication and hard work.

Through this initiative, we want individuals around the world to identify their ability, stay committed and make their energy channels for purposeful development. Whether in yoga or in life, travel begins with a clear intentions – and follow great things when you are consistent in your efforts.

In what ways will these 12 world record attempts promote India’s ancient yoga heritage worldwide?

Yoga, in itself, is a timeless heritage. There is no external verification required for this – its value is already recognized globally. The United Nations has declared an international day of yoga, and globally, it is accepted as a precious cultural and spiritual gift.

The purpose of these 12 world record efforts is not aimed at adding the greatness of yoga – Instead, these efforts are to increase awareness, and to bring more people closer to this intensive science of life.

Through these initiatives, we want to inspire every person, every house to connect with this practice and to experience its transformative power.

The movement also aligns with the strong efforts of the Ministry of AYUSH, which is continuously working on the global stage to promote yoga and India’s overall health systems.

The real goal is to awaken consciousness. We respect their legacy by dedicating these world record efforts to the great ancient masters who gifted this knowledge.

This is our tribute to the powerful knowledge that they preserved and passed – now it is our responsibility to take it forward and share it with the world.

Do you see this as a defining moment for India to re-establish its spiritual leadership on the global stage?

Absolutely. Not only us, but people from all over the world believe that India is a land of spirituality. Whether it is Himachal, Kashi, Vrindavan, or Rishikesh – each of these places carries a divine and sacred energy that attracts seekers around the world.

People often turn to the Himalayas and the spiritual roots of India for guidance in search of deep meaning, treatment, or change.

Ask anyone around the world about the spiritual capital of the world, and India is the name that comes first. Such initiative is based on yoga, spirituality and Ayurveda – not only celebrates our heritage, but also works to spread it in its pure form around the world.

Yes, this is actually a decisive moment. Such large -scale, through purposeful efforts, we are helping to re -confirm and re -establish India’s position as a yoga and spiritual leader on the global platform.

What are the key challenges in preparing for 12 different Guinness World Record attempts simultaneously?

Preparing for 12 separate Guinness World Record Efforts at a time is definitely a monumental task. The Guinness process itself is considered rigid, especially when attempting records with large groups. This requires immense planning, coordination and adherence for strict guidelines.

One of the biggest challenges lies in logistics – organizing the site, managing the document, following the official protocol, and ensuring that everything is completely synchronized. Personal record efforts are challenging in themselves, but group efforts increase complexity.

This even more demands that our vision to include participants from all areas of life is-that only our in-house students from Akshar Yoga Center.

This year, we have an individuals of Indian Army, Air Force, Karnataka Police, foreign nationals, students of various schools and colleges, housewives, yoga enthusiastic and business professionals.

Training such a diverse group, align their program, and to bring them to the same performance level require dedication, patience and a efficient system.

Fortunately, our Akshara Yoga Center team is strong, competent and experienced, which makes it possible to handle the operation on such a large scale.

Despite the challenges, when everyone is united with a shared purpose, even the most ambitious goals are achieved.

What kind of preparation and discipline is required from the participants and your core team to achieve this feat?

Both participants and our main team must be committed to intensive preparation and discipline to complete this extraordinary task.

For the core team, the responsibility begins with full knowledge and mastery on all 12 postures – this includes their technique, time and execution. Beyond their own training, the team should travel to various places across the country to train diverse participating groups.

These include schools, colleges, police departments, Indian Army, Air Force and other institutions. The training must be adapted to the environment and schedule of each group, which demands excellent planning and flexibility.

For participants, discipline is equally important. Each posture has a specific period and form that must be maintained. Participants must first understand the exact alignment and time of each asana, and then practice strictly to correct it.

Once they are trained, they should continue regular practice to ensure that they can perform confidently during the final record attempt.

This level of continuity and commitment from both instructors and participants – is that which will make the entire mission successful. It is not only about the creation of physical strength, but also a sense of mental attention and unity.

Are you involving international yoga practitioners or is this an all-India movement?

While it is being held mainly in India, it is not limited to Indian participants alone. Yoga physicians across the country, of course, are actively involved – but this initiative is also open to yoga enthusiastic people around the world.

International participants are joining in large numbers, and the scale of participation is truly global. Since we are trying 12 separate records with different participating numbers for each, we have held the structure accordingly.

It is not necessary for all to do all records simultaneously; Instead, we have fragmented efforts to accommodate the diversity of our participants.

We have already gained confirmation of participation from more than 40 countries, including Hong-Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, France, United Kingdom, United States and many more.

This clearly indicates that our movement is both national and international in the soul, which in today’s world reflects the really global and integrated nature of yoga.

What has been your spiritual journey leading up to this point, and how has yoga shaped your life?

This question is very important, especially in the early stages of someone’s journey. But once you moved deeply on the spiritual path and crossed some threshold, the differences between the past, present and future begin to dissolve. Life moment – Pal is alive – don’t worry about whether it has passed or what is yet to come.

The true essence of spirituality is inherent in living in the present, making each moment powerful and beautiful.

This is the way I am now alive – currently anchored. I not only focus on working for myself, but also for the upliftment of state, nation and society on a large scale. Our functions should be aligned with prosperity, clarity and a high path.

Yoga has played a transformative role in this journey. Every posture carries the ability to reopen not only your physical body but also your mind, intellect and soul.

Think about it: If just a few months of practice can visually change your physical form-imagine-together with something popular with something popular, imagine-with consistent, long-term practice.

And when your path is guided by the teachings of the Himalayas, the change is not only progressive, it is deeply positive.

This journey should be continued with tireless dedication and unwavering discipline. This is the essence of my spiritual path, and yoga has been its heartbeat.

If you could deliver one message to the world on International Yoga Day 2025, what would it be?

The great sages, sages and lords of our tradition have already given the most important messages to the world – I just echo their timeless knowledge.

My message is this: The life you have got is pure. Do not let it go to ruin.

Try to understand the deep truth of your existence. Search your real purpose, and once you recognize your goal, take it forward with all your strength, energy and determination. This is the one who should remind us of International Yoga Day – that our lives are meaningful, powerful and full of capacity.

The more powerful and prosperous you become in your internal journey, the more beautiful your outer life will be revealed. Yoga guides you to this feeling.

The Akshar Yoga Center has celebrated the International Yoga Day in a historic way under the guidance of Himalayan Siddha letters, with an attempt to set 12 new Guinness World Records in Yogasan, its legacy of 9 existing records has been added.

This grand program will be held in Palace Grounds, Bangalore, will come together to mark this extraordinary festival of yoga with participants from all over India and the world.

Concluding our conversation, Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar reiterates the importance of collective well-being through yoga, aligning with PM Modi’s vision.

He inspires us to embrace yoga as a universal practice that transcends boundaries, promoting peace and health for all. As we approach International Yoga Day 2025, his message resonates with hope and unity for a healthier planet.
