Japanese carmaker Honda Motor Company launches BS VI Amaze in India with BS-6 compliant engines for Rs 6.09 lakh, mileage of 24.7 Kmpl.
Japanese carmaker Honda Motor Company, Honda Car India Limited (HCIL) launched it the updated entry-level compact sedan Amaze with a BS-6 engine in both petrol and diesel options. The ex-showroom price in Delhi is between Rs 6.09 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh. Amaze is the first BS-6 compliant diesel engine model in India from Honda.
The Amaze petrol model comes with BS-compliant 1.2 liter petrol engine with both CVT and manual. The CVT model mileage is 18.3 Kmpl and the petrol model mileage is 18.6 Kmpl. The mileage of the CVT variants is 21 kilometers per liter and the mileage of the manual diesel variant is 24.7 kilometers per liter.
The 1.5-liter diesel model has priced from Rs 7.55 lakh to Rs 9.95 lakh while the 1.2-liter petrol model has priced from Rs 6.09 lakh to Rs 8.75 lakh.
Honda Car India Limited Vice President and Director, Marketing and Sales, Rajesh Goyal, said we are rapidly moving towards BS-6 emission standards and will make all our models BS-compliant by the end of the current financial year.
