The Beginning of TapWell’s Journey

TapWell’s journey started in the most grassroots way — with two 22-year-olds selling event T-shirts for college festivals.

What seemed like a small side hustle soon turned into something bigger, as Rases and Ashima built strong ties with T-shirt manufacturers, printers, and vendors. These early connections laid the foundation for what would eventually become TapWell.

With just ₹40,000 of seed money from their parents, they began by fulfilling orders for staff and promotional T-shirts. As client needs evolved, so did their offerings. The duo listed their business on Just Dial and IndiaMART to generate inquiries and build a pipeline.

Winning trust at a young age wasn’t easy, but their deep research, consistent quality, and personalised solutions helped them stand out. They slowly moved into corporate gifting, developed a strong supply chain, and focused on quality-first sourcing.

The path wasn’t without hurdles. Managing a diverse catalogue, handling custom orders, and staying ahead in a crowded market tested their limits.

A major cancellation of a large order once hit hard, but instead of giving up, they learned, adapted, and shortly secured an even bigger deal. That moment became a turning point, reinforcing TapWell’s focus on customer service, agility, and long-term trust.

Since its founding in 2015, TapWell has grown into one of India’s most trusted names in corporate gifting. With over 1,000 corporate clients, 4,000+ completed orders, and more than 1 million gifts delivered, the numbers reflect a journey of steady growth and deep client trust.
