By Abhilasha Munjal: Meet Satvik Mathur, an alumnus of Apeejay School, Noida (Batch of 2014), currently serving as Consultant–Legal Head at Proind Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. A corporate lawyer by profession, he is also actively involved in public service.

He holds key positions, including Executive Member of the BJP Delhi High Court Unit, Convenor for BJP Shahdara Zilla Advocate Cell, and Youth President of Akhil Bhartiya Kayasth Mahasabha, South Delhi. An outgoing individual, he is committed to the nation’s progress.

What does a typical day look like?

I begin my day early at the courts to check on cases. After court proceedings, I catch up with co-workers over discussions on current events and case studies. My work then continues at the office, where I handle crucial legal matters concerning my organisation.

Evenings are often spent in social engagements with members of government ministries and political leaders.

My spouse plays a vital role in supporting my journey and goals. Despite a packed schedule filled with meetings and responsibilities, I make it a point to unwind in the late evenings with my loved ones. 

What inspired you to pursue a career in law?

With a Science background, I was inspired to pursue law to honour my late grandfather’s legacy. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in corporate law and compliance.

I also aim to support underprivileged communities by representing them in legal matters and contributing to their upliftment.

What are your fondest memories from your school time?

I had a wonderful time at school, gaining valuable experiences beyond the classroom. I especially enjoyed extracurricular activities and proudly served as the Band Leader.

From 2012 to 2013, I was part of the Prefectorial Board’s Hospitality Committee and held leadership roles in the Interact Club as Director (2011–2012) and Secretary (2012–2013), which nurtured my sense of social responsibility. As a Code Club member, my team also organised the school’s first Music Mixing Competition in 2013.

How were the teachers at Apeejay?

I feel truly fortunate to be an Apeejay School, Noida alumnus, guided by an exceptional group of teachers and staff who shaped my journey.

Their dedication played a vital role in who I am today. Apeejay stands out for nurturing not just academics but also strong values and ethics — something rare in today’s education system.

How did your time at school influence your personal and professional growth?

As mentioned earlier, the teachers and staff at this school played a key role in shaping my future by instilling strong moral values and principles. In today’s world, where education is increasingly commercialised, such values have become rare.

Many parents and students now prioritise a luxurious lifestyle over ethics, overlooking the fact that without a solid moral foundation, true success remains out of reach.

The school stands apart by continuing to emphasise character-building alongside academics, giving its students a distinct advantage and preparing them not just for careers, but for meaningful lives rooted in integrity.

Message for the present students of the school.

I want children to understand the importance of respecting faculty and staff, as it’s their values and ethics that truly shape students. A career in law requires passion, adaptability, and continuous learning.

With determination, resilience, and a focused approach, success is well within reach. I’m deeply grateful to my teachers and school administration for instilling the morals and values that guide me in making meaningful contributions to society. Their influence continues to inspire my personal and professional journey.
