Can you tell us about the founding of your company? What inspired you to start it, and what were some of the challenges you faced in the early days?

Iftikhar Khan: If you have decided for an entrepreneurial life then be ready to go through all the hardships, challenges and failures you will face which will lead to profits later.

Even the idea of our app was inspired from the 2020 lockdown which we all faced due to corona virus breakout.

Being away from your family, not being able to meet them lead to minimal communication and losing the family bond.

Iftikhar Khan: I am sure if I asked you about your family lineage, your ancestors or even about your grandmother or great grandmother’s name not a lot of people will be able to answer it.

This is where our app, Kintree comes into existence. With our app you will not only be able to build your family tree, but also chat with them, create events, connect with them virtually, share your pictures and create memories with them.

What are your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs?

Iftikhar Khan: I have interacted with several young entrepreneurs and the one question they always ask about is what’s the secret behind the success.

In my opinion, success is something that you define. Be open to challenges, have a clear vision, take risks and don’t be afraid of failures.

There’s no model way of achieving success. Just be determined, persistent and never be afraid of failures. Being focused on your goals will make your path to achieve your dreams.

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Please share with us any insights that led you to believe that this is a big enough problem?

Iftikhar Khan: Ask any child these days if they know their family’s hometown or what their ancestors did for their profession and most will not have an answer.

Enough adults share their concerns over their next generation being bereft of these rich cultural aspects but there’s not much they do to change that.

Kintree will solve exactly that need gap. It’s central feature of building your own family tree can lead to so many revealing facts about anyone’s family heritage and culture and the possibilities with extended family are endless.
