Ishan Pranav Kumar Pandey Kishan is now very popular as Ishan Kishan. He is a young Indian cricketer. He is a wicket keeper as well as left handed batsman.

In March 2021, he made his international debut for Indian Cricket team. For 2016-under-19 Cricket World Cup, he was named as the captain of Indian squad in 2015 December.

Mumbai Indians bought him for Rs. 6.2 crores, in the 2018 Indian Premier League players auction.

Ishan was born on 18th July 1998 in Patna, Bihar. His closed ones know him as Definite. Nawada district Bihar is his hometown.

He completed his education from Delhi Public School Patna & College of Commerce Patna. His father Pranav Kumar Pandey is a builder & his mother’s name is Suchitra Sing.

His brother Raj Kishan is a former State level cricketer. His brother supported him to choose cricket as career. He loves to play table tennis & billiards at free time.

He started playing from Jharkhand due to registration issue between Bihar Cricket Association and the BCCI. M. S. Dhoni, Virat Kohli & Adam Gilchrist are his idols. From the childhood cricket was his passion.

At the tender age of seven, he led his school team for the School World Cup in Aligarh. He scored 273 runs against Delhi in 2016-17 Ranji Trophy. That was the highest score by the player from Jharkhand.

He was the captain of Under 19 cricket team at Dhaka. He is an aggressive batsman.
In January 2018, Mumbai Indians bought him in the 2018 IPL auction.

With 405 runs in 9-matches, he was the leading run-scorer for Jharkhand in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He scored an unbeaten century against Jammu & Kashmir, in February 2019, in the 2018-19 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

He scored 113* against Manipur, to record back-to-back centuries in the tournament. He was named in the India Red team’s squad for the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy in August 2019. Kishan scored 173 runs against Madhya Pradesh on 20th February 2020.

He was named in India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for a series against England. Kishan made his T20I debut for Indian team on 14th March 2021. He scored 56 off 32 before getting out lbw to Adil Rashid. India won that match by seven wickets & Kishan was named as man of the match.
