Can you please provide an overview of BramhAnsh Technologies and its core mission and values?

Jaideep Tiwari: BramhAnsh Technologies Private Limited is a leading MedTech Company dedicated to serve the healthcare sector by offering advanced medical devices designed to address conditions such as headaches, anxiety, insomnia, migraines, and various others.

The organization is committed to a mission of transforming the healthcare sector through innovative wearable medical technologies, with the aim of elevating patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life on a global scale.

Our core mission is to harness cutting-edge technology and scientific research to create accessible and effective healthcare devices that enhance the well-being of individuals. With creating a drug-free treatments that enable millions of migraine patients to live more enjoyable lives via new products to provide control over their bodies and predictable symptom relief.

What inspired you to start BramhAnsh Technologies, and how has the company evolved since its inception?

Jaideep Tiwari: Our journey had its roots in 2015, when I, Jaideep Tiwari, the Founder and CEO of BramhAnsh Technologies, personally grappled with an anxiety disorder that necessitated treatment. Rather than surrendering to this challenge, my college friend K. Kartik, who is now the Co-founder and COO of BramhAnsh Technologies, and I decided to harness the potential of technology to tackle mental health issues.

We had a long history of collaboration and shared interests dating back to our college days, and together, we set out on a mission to establish a company that would utilize technology to alleviate a wide range of disorders. As young entrepreneurs from a small town in Chhattisgarh, we carried an ambitious vision.

Our official journey commenced in 2017 when we embarked on extensive research into the development of a technology that utilizes sound waves as a means of stimulating the nervous system. After numerous hours of dedicated research and hard work, we successfully created this groundbreaking technology. In 2020, our innovation received a patent, and we proudly named it “Migraelief.”

The significant milestones of our company can be summarized as follows:

• In 2017, the Company initiated research aimed at creating a technology that uses sound waves for nervous system stimulation.
• In 2018, the company was officially incorporated, marking the start of two intensive years dedicated to technology development.
• By 2020, we achieved noteworthy milestones, including the granting of a patent, the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and the successful completion of over 500 human trials.
• In 2022, the company secured regulatory clearances, including CE, ISO 13485, and CDSCO approvals. We also began preparations for conducting clinical trials.
• In 2023, the company initiated clinical trials, conducted comprehensive market research, and successfully launched the product into the market.

What are the primary products or services that your company offers, and how do they address the current needs and challenges in the market?

Jaideep Tiwari: “Migraelief” our primary product is the first wearable device for migraine treatment in INDIA. It is a medical-grade device that has been clinically validated and developed to assist individuals who have not found relief for their migraine symptoms through other treatments. 

MIGRAELIEF device stands out as a drug-free option for relieving migraine pain. MIGRAELIEF is a CDSCO-registered and ISO-CE-certified device that utilizes reached-backed low-frequency sound waves generated by the developed patented transducer technology which can conduct through bones.

What sets MIGRAELIEF apart is its unique band design and transducer placement that enables the efficient distribution of low-frequency waves across the head and ensures efficient neuromodulation by stimulating the nerves.

The waves produced by the transducer interact and create patterns along the band, effectively transmitting these low-frequency waves through cells, tissues, and bones.

This stimulation targets the trigeminal and occipital nerves in the brain, triggering a natural relaxation response in the body to alleviate pain and promote sleep. It ensures non-invasive and medication-free relief, which is particularly beneficial for individuals who experience limitations or side effects with medications. 

Migraelief is user-friendly, worn like a headband and placed at the center of the forehead. A 20-minute treatment session is all it takes to reduce migraine pain, alleviate headaches, and induce sleep.

The device is seamlessly managed through an intuitive mobile app, empowering users to customize their treatments and meticulously track their migraine experiences.

Jaideep Tiwari: At BramhAnsh Technologies, we’ve effectively navigated the common challenges that often confront startups, particularly those related to funding and scaling. To address funding constraints, we strategically adopted a multifaceted approach.

In 2018, we achieved significant recognition by winning the Smart India Hackathon AICTE and emerging as finalists in the NBEC C-CAMP NIDHI EIR competition at IIM Calcutta, where we secured cash prizes.

In our journey, we’ve also been fortunate to secure funding from various esteemed government bodies, including Birac, NIDHI PRAYAS, MEITY EIR, and SINE IIT Bombay. These strategic alliances with government entities not only provided financial support but also validated the credibility and potential impact of our innovations.

Furthermore, we’ve received invaluable support from angel investors who share our vision and believe in the transformative potential of our products and services. Their investments have played a pivotal role in propelling our growth.
