BS6-compliant Jeep Compass launched in India with both petrol and diesel engine options
Jeep Compass is quite popular in the SUV segment. American SUV maker Jeep has launched Compass, Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) emission norms compliant version. Jeep Compass BS6 price starts from Rs. 15.6 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi and available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Jeep is skipping the Auto Expo 2020.
Jeep Compass BS6 Price
Compared to BS4, the new Jeep Compass BS6 petrol version has become expensive by Rs 25,000. While diesel version price has increased up to Rs 1.1 lakh. After the upgrade to the BS6 engine, now Jeep Compass price has increased to Rs 15.60 lakh.
According to the company, the Jeep Compass available with a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, which gives 350 Nm torque and 170 bhp power. The company said that after the upgrade to the Jeep Compass BS6 engine, there has been no change in the output of its engine. The Jeep Compass offers a 161 bhp power and 250 Nm torque, and 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine. Both these engines are equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
