Can you share the story behind the founding of QualiZeal and your vision for the company in the quality engineering sector?
Kalyan Konda: QualiZeal was founded by a group of seven passionate individuals united by a shared vision: to revolutionize Quality Engineering through innovation, intellectual rigor, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
From the very start, our goal has been to create a company that not only leads the conversation in Quality Engineering but also defines it through well-differentiated Intellectual property that sets new industry standards.
Our mission was clear: to build a Quality Engineering powerhouse capable of addressing the evolving needs of Fortune 1000 companies by rapidly achieving critical mass in terms of our workforce, revenue, and unique offerings.
We aimed to become a trusted partner for organizations striving for excellence in Quality Engineering.
At QualiZeal, we’re driven by a deep commitment to our people. We’ve structured the company to be employee owned.
This unique ownership model inspires innovation and dedication, fostering a culture where every individual is empowered, invested, and motivated to bring their best to our clients and the industry and co-create the future of QualiZeal.
As we look to the future, our vision is to be recognized as a leader in Quality Engineering, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation and setting new industry standards.
We believe that through our passion, expertise, and commitment to excellence, QualiZeal will shape the future of Quality Engineering for years to come.
With two major delivery centers in India, how does QualiZeal leverage these facilities to enhance its service offerings?
Kalyan Konda: Our delivery centers in India are integral to QualiZeal’s overall strategy, playing a pivotal role in our operational excellence and the enhancement of our service offerings.
Strategically located in Hyderabad, India’s thriving hub for next-gen technology, these centers enable us to harness India’s deep and diverse talent pool of highly skilled professionals who are experts in Quality Engineering.
This allows us to deliver innovative solutions that significantly enhance our clients’ digital transformation journeys. Notably, the roots of all our co-founders are based in India, reinforcing our commitment to the local ecosystem.
These centers also function as hubs for continuous learning and development. We invest significantly in training and upskilling our teams to stay ahead of industry trends and technologies.
We have established world-class Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Performance, Cybersecurity, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Internet of Things (IoT), DevOps, Accessibility, and Data to position QualiZeal for industry leadership in the years to come.
Moreover, our delivery centers allow us to operate with unmatched flexibility, scaling our teams as needed to meet global demands without compromising on quality or timelines.
This approach not only allows us to offer cost-effective solutions but also accelerates delivery cycles, making us an agile partner for Fortune 1000 companies.
Ultimately, our India delivery centers are foundational to our mission: providing world-class Quality Engineering services that are both transformative and deeply attuned to the needs of the global market.
As we continue to expand our capabilities, we remain committed to leveraging these centers to drive innovation and excellence in everything we do.
Can you share QualiZeal’s strategy for attracting investors, particularly in showcasing revenue growth and a solid client base?
Kalyan Konda: QualiZeal aims to become a $100 million-plus company by 2027 or 2028 and certainly wants to be one of the fastest $100 million companies ever built in the Quality Engineering services space.
To achieve this level of hyper-growth, needed are a leadership team that has “been there and done that,” along with the vision and execution capability for new-age Quality Engineering service offerings—both of which are already in place at QualiZeal.
We have the ability to front-load the growth investments necessary to achieve scale at speed. QualiZeal experienced a CAGR of 71% over the past 2.5 years, and strategic plans are in place to achieve a 40% CAGR over the next 3 to 4 years.
This presents an excellent opportunity for the investors willing to back a top-decile hyper-growth company with a focus on profitability.
Currently, QualiZeal is working with over eight $1 billion companies that are sector leaders in their respective industries, relying on QualiZeal to drive innovation and optimize their current business-as-usual operations. QualiZeal has a fantastic opportunity to grow within these accounts and beyond.
Can you discuss any specific projects or innovations on the horizon that you believe will significantly enhance your service offerings?
Kalyan Konda: Our purpose is deeply rooted in redefining the Quality Engineering paradigm in a digital-first world.
Founded on the principles of delivery excellence, service orientation, and customer delight, QualiZeal’s vision is to empower its global clients to achieve sustainable digital transformation success in the face of disruptive market shifts, both now and in the years to come.

We have also established world-class Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Performance, Cybersecurity, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Internet of Things (IoT), DevOps, Accessibility, and Data to position QualiZeal for industry leadership in the years to come.
Owing to its pioneering innovation, QualiZeal has been recognized by premier analyst firms such as Forrester, Everest Group, and NelsonHall as a major contender in the Quality Engineering space, all within just three years of its inception.
How is QualiZeal fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture within the organization?
Kalyan Konda: QualiZeal puts culture first by ensuring that people and culture form the foundation of everything we do—fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and empowering environment where employees bring their best selves to work every day.
What underpins our success over the years since our inception is our consistent commitment to treating people well. We continue fostering a culture where everyone’s voice is heard, every idea is considered, and every team member feels valued.
We are actively weaving diversity and inclusion into our cultural fabric by being more proactive and deliberate.
We have been making steady strides in enhancing diversity across all dimensions, including gender, culture, race, religion, age, etc.
Notably, our focused efforts have yielded a 42% female workforce participation rate—a rarity in the technology industry—and we are on a mission to achieve gender parity.
As a part of our diversity hiring initiative, we have established Grace Hopper Centers of Excellence (GHCoE) in leading academic institutions to serve as a career launchpad for women. This program transforms young female engineering students into skilled, industry-ready professionals.
Moreover, our “Returnship” program provides women returning from career breaks with mentorship, training, and support, helping them seamlessly reintegrate into their professional roles and restart their careers.
We celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion as core tenets and competitive advantages that enrich our company culture and drive innovation.
What current trends in the quality engineering field do you find most exciting, and how is QualiZeal positioning itself to capitalize on them?
Kalyan Konda: Generative AI (GenAI) is poised to play a transformative role in Quality Engineering by enhancing various aspects of the testing process, improving efficiency, and driving innovation.
As GenAI continues to evolve, it will likely become an indispensable tool in Quality Engineering, offering predictive insights, automating complex tasks, and continuously learning to adapt to new challenges.
GenAI holds the promise of elevating QE from a reactive role to a proactive, strategic function that not only ensures software quality but also anticipates and prevents issues before they arise.
Potential future developments include fully autonomous testing systems that can self-learn and adapt to changes, and deep integration of GenAI with DevOps pipelines for continuous, end-to-end quality assurance.
This would enable Quality Engineering teams to respond to changes and feedback almost in real time, ensuring that quality remains high even in fast-paced development environments.
For organizations, this means improved product quality, faster delivery, and ultimately, higher customer satisfaction.
As GenAI becomes further integrated into Quality Engineering, it will transform QE into a smarter, faster, and more resilient function aligned with the fast-paced demands of modern software development.
QualiCentral, QualiZeal’s AI-powered innovative portfolio of assets and platforms, pioneers the extensive use of Generative AI to solve global quality problems at speed and scale.
Our QEBot.ai™, our AI-powered chatbot designed to augment the productivity of software testers by providing real-time, context-aware assistance, is transforming the way quality assurance is performed across the industry.
What advice would you give to other tech startups looking to establish a strong foundation in quality engineering?
Kalyan Konda: Building a tech startup in Quality Engineering is a journey that requires vision, passion, and resilience. Here are a few key pieces of advice for startups aiming to make a meaningful impact in this field:
- Assemble a Cohesive Founding Team
A strong, aligned founding team is crucial. Choose co-founders who not only bring complementary skills but who also share a commitment to the company’s goals and core principles. A unified team can weather challenges, make decisive choices, and drive the company forward with a clear, collective purpose. - Focus on a Problem You’re Passionate About
At the heart of any successful startup is a profound commitment to solving a real problem. In Quality Engineering, the challenges are complex and constantly evolving, so it’s essential to tackle something you are genuinely passionate about. Your dedication to this mission will set you apart and drive you to innovate, push boundaries, and solve the problem better than anyone else. - Build for Scale from Day One
Think big from the outset. Envision a business model that can scale as you grow and one that remains adaptable to meet industry demands. This foresight will ensure that your solutions aren’t just impactful on a small scale but can transform the industry at large.
For inspiration, a valuable framework to consider is the Hedgehog Concept from Jim Collins’ book Good to Great.
The Hedgehog Concept encourages you to find the intersection of three essential elements: what you’re deeply passionate about, what you can be the best in the world at, and what drives your economic engine.
When your startup finds alignment at this intersection, you have the clarity and focus needed to build something extraordinary.
In Quality Engineering, success is about combining deep expertise with a drive to continuously learn and adapt.
If you can build a team with shared values, channel your passion to address critical challenges, and construct a scalable business model, you’ll be well-positioned to make a lasting impact in the tech industry.
Kalyan Konda’s vision and leadership continue to propel QualiZeal toward new horizons, with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in QE. His journey serves as an inspiring example of how strategic growth and technological advancements can shape the future of tech startups.
