KM Birla’s Daughter Ananya And Son Aryaman Aditya Birla Joined The Fashion And Retail Board
February 2023: New Delhi: Billionaire Kumar Mangalam Birla’s children are all set to join the board of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail.
The company announced on Monday that Ananya Birla and Aryaman Vikram Birla have been inducted to the board and bring with them new-age insights and business acumen.
Ananya Birla and Aryaman Vikram Birla come with rich and varied experience in entrepreneurship and business building.
The board believes that ABFRL will benefit from his new-age insights and business acumen, the company said in a statement.
“Ananya and Aryaman’s exceptional personal achievements in their chosen fields and early success with their independent entrepreneurial ventures have set them up well for greater responsibilities.
Their keen understanding of new-age business models and emerging changes in consumer behavior will infuse new energy to the Board.

Birla’s daughter Ananya, now 28, became an entrepreneur at the age of 17 when she founded her first company – Swatantra Microfin Pvt Ltd.
Ananya’s company is one of the fastest growing microfinance institutions in the country and has crossed $1 billion AUM. It has grown at a CAGR of 120 percent (2015-2022).
Ananya Birla, also known for her singing talent, is also the founder of design-led home decor brand Ikai Asai and co-founded Mpower, which advocates the need to talk about mental health in India.
Who is Aryaman Birla?
Ananya’s younger brother Aryaman Birla is involved in several businesses of the Aditya Birla Group. He is also part of the group’s foray into new-age businesses and helped nurture the group’s D2C platform, TMRW.
Aryaman also heads the group’s venture capital fund, Aditya Birla Ventures. Before that he was a first class cricketer.
