Laxmi Asrani Skinwood Luxury Aesthetic Centre

An Exclusive Interview with Laxmi Asrani, Entrepreneur and Director of Skinwood Luxury Aesthetic Centre

In this inspiring conversation, Laxmi Asrani, Entrepreneur and Director of Skinwood Luxury Aesthetic Centre, shares her journey of blending science, artistry, and empathy. She discusses building a premium aesthetic brand, empowering clients, and redefining beauty with confidence and care.

Can you share how your transition from fashion design to leading Skinwood Luxury Aesthetic Centre redefined luxury skincare for you?

Laxmi Asrani: I started my career as a fashion designer, where I learned that true luxury lies in precision and consistency, not excess. When I founded Skinwood, that philosophy evolved further through my experience as a TB warrior.

Even while undergoing treatment, I continued working and meeting clients, which made one thing very clear to me: safety has to be the foundation of everything we do. I am not a doctor, and I don’t want clients to trust me as an individual.

I want them to trust Skinwood as a system. That’s why every treatment is doctor led, protocol-driven, and performed using only US FDA approved technologies. For me, luxury skincare means knowing that no matter who walks in, they are protected by process, ethics, and medical oversight.

How is Skinwood setting new standards in doctor-led aesthetic treatments like Fire & Ice facials?

Laxmi Asrani: Skinwood sets new standards by being uncompromising about safety and medical leadership. Every treatment, including Fire & Ice facials, is conducted under the supervision of qualified doctors and performed using US FDA approved technologies and products.

We do not customize treatments based on trends or pressure. They are customised based on skin condition, tolerance, and long-term skin health.

Clients trust Skinwood because the care does not depend on one person. It depends on medical protocols, trained professionals, and strict follow-ups.

What role has overcoming health challenges played in creating resilient, luxury skincare solutions?

Laxmi Asrani: Being a TB warrior reshaped how I view responsibility. Continuing to work while managing a serious health condition made me deeply aware of hygiene, immunity, and risk. That awareness is embedded into Skinwood’s DNA. We don’t push the skin beyond what it can handle.

We focus on strengthening the skin barrier, respecting recovery, and ensuring every treatment is safe and medically justified. Luxury, to me, is skin that becomes stronger, not just temporarily better.

How do you integrate holistic wellness into high end skincare at Skinwood?

Laxmi Asrani: At Skinwood, holistic wellness starts with education and follow-through. A treatment alone is never enough. We guide clients on daily skincare routines, emphasising SPF and moisturiser as non-negotiables, regardless of how advanced or expensive the treatment is.

Skin health depends on what clients do every day, not just what happens in the clinic. Our team ensures complete follow-ups, checks recovery, and adjusts routines as needed. That continuity of care is what elevates the experience from cosmetic to truly holistic.

What trends are you seeing in luxury skincare, and how is Skinwood ahead of the curve?

Laxmi Asrani: Clients today are more aware and cautious. They want visible results, but not at the cost of safety. There is a strong shift toward doctor-led, science-backed treatments and long-term skin health.

Skinwood has always worked this way. We only introduce treatments that are backed by medical evidence and US FDA approval. Being ahead of the curve means protecting clients from over-treatment and ensuring their skin ages well.

What’s one daily ritual from your routine that clients adopt for glowing, confident skin?

Laxmi Asrani: A disciplined basic routine. No matter how advanced your treatments are, your skin cannot thrive without a consistent routine that includes cleansing, moisturising, and daily SPF.

I always tell clients that treatments enhance your skin, but your routine protects it. Confidence comes from consistency, not occasional luxury.

Where do you see luxury skincare and wellness evolving in the next five years?

Laxmi Asrani: Luxury skincare will become more structured, transparent, and preventive. Clients will expect medically led care, documented protocols, and regular follow-ups.

Wellness and aesthetics will continue to merge, with greater focus on skin resilience, immunity, and long-term maintenance. Clinics that prioritise safety, education, and accountability will define the future.

What advice would you give aspiring entrepreneurs redefining beauty through wellness?

Laxmi Asrani: Understand the responsibility that comes with this industry. You don’t need to be a doctor, but you must build a system that respects medical science.

Use only approved technologies, work with qualified professionals, and never let growth compromise safety. Most importantly, build trust in your brand, not in yourself alone. When systems are strong, people are protected, and that’s when real impact happens

Through her vision for Skinwood Luxury Aesthetic Centre, Laxmi Asrani showcases how passion, resilience, and innovation can transform the aesthetics industry. Her story encourages individuals to embrace self-care, while setting new standards for ethical, results-driven luxury beauty experiences.
