Noida International University Hosts Inspiring Session with Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu

Noida– Noida International University (NIU) organized an enlightening session for its first-year B.Tech students who were present with their parents. The event was graced by the presence of the renowned spiritual leader and motivational speaker, Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu, Vice President of ISKCON Dwarka, as the Chief Guest.

Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhawdwaj, Vice Chancellor of NIU, commenced the event with a warm welcome and felicitation of Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu. She said, “The right education and guidance lead to the right path, and having a spiritual leader, Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu, is a matter of joy and inspiration whose knowledge will guide us all towards the right path.”

Dr Tanya Singh, Dean Academics, NIU, in her welcome address, said, “Spirituality guides us to live life in a better way.” Today, children are confused and completely dependent on technology. We warmly welcome Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu, who will enlighten students and everyone present here with his vast knowledge.

Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu said, “‘Reel Life vs Real Life: Lessons for Today’s Students.’ A thought-provoking comparison between the college life often glamorized in movies and the real-life challenges faced by students.

While films frequently portray college years as carefree and fun-filled, real life demands discipline, focus, responsibility, and the acquisition of knowledge. The major distractions faced by today’s youth are mobile phones, social media overuse, unhealthy relationships, addictions, and a lack of physical activity.

I urge students to use technology wisely, build stamina, and value their health. ‘Technology is an outstanding servant but a very bad master.’ Just like a monk in a monastery must behave like a monk, a student in a university must behave like a true student.”

The session left the audience deeply inspired, encouraging them to adopt discipline, engage in meaningful conversations, avoid harmful habits, and strike a balance between fun and responsibility during their college journey. Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu signed the Bhagavad Gita for the students and the members who were present and, in the Q&A session, answered the questions of the students.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Akash Sharma, Director of Admissions & Outreach, who expressed gratitude towards Shri Amogh Lila Das Prabhu for his valuable guidance and blessings.

He also expressed gratitude to NIU for providing such an enriching platform that blends spiritual wisdom with academic learning. NIU is delighted to host such a revered personality whose words continue to inspire youth across the nation.
