Interview with Maitri Desai, Entrepreneur and Founder of Hampers & More

As part of this endeavour, we invited yet another entrepreneur Maitri Desai, Entrepreneur and Founder of Hampers & More for an exclusive interview with us.
Tell us a little about yourself
Maitri: My name is Maitri Desai. I have studied Master of commerce and I also passed my CA IPCC (group1) than I started this business called Hampers & More.
My father is trustee of the school and mother is home maker. I have younger brother who run his business in food chain.
What made you choose this type of business?
Maitri: I started this business as I love to make hampers and choose gifts for the people so I thought to make this thing as my profession and I started this business as my dream work.
What was your mission at the outset?
Maitri: Our mission is to make your moment happier with our hampers and spread the happiness to as many people we can.
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Maitri: As we are in our initial stage there is some ups and down but we are learning from that and It helps us to build the better brand.
What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur?
Maitri: It’s been almost year when I started this business of hampers and gifting. My family is my main inspiration source for doing this business after I left my CA and started completely different thing.
As I belong to family of businessman, that bring me to build something of my own and become an entrepreneur.
What product(s) do you offer at Hampers & More?
Maitri: We offer corporate gifting, Festive hampers, Wedding hampers and gifting for all occasion. Our business is based on customisation so one can make their own hampers as per their requirements and we are shipping PAN INDIA basis.
What’s your goal?
Maitri: Our only goal is to reach to every single person and be a part of their happy moments by sharing love through our hampers and gifts. As we deliver PAN India, we have our whole country as a targeted audience.
Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs
Maitri: Consistency is the only key to success, not every day are same. Ups and downs are the part of business journey, sometimes you learn and other time you achieve.
