Malaika Arora is an Indian actress, model, dancer, VJ & television personality. She appears in Hindi-language films. In 2002, she starred as a main role in film Kante & in EMI in 2008.
In 2008, she made her film debut as a film producer with her former husband Arbaz Khan. The company was named as Arbaz Khan Productions, it created Dabangg film series.
Malaika Arora is acclaimed for her performance as a dancer I the songs Chaiya Chaiya, Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha, Maahi Ve, Kaal Dhamaal & Munni Badnaam Hui. She is one of the judges in television reality show India’s Got Talent.

Malaika was born on 23rd October 1973 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her mother Joyce Polycarp is Malayali & father Anil Arora was a Punjabi.
He was working in Indian Merchant Navy. When she was 11 years old her parents divorced, so she & her sister Amrita moved with her mother.
Malaika Arora is called Malla by her loved ones. She is an amid dancer. She has specialization in dance forms like Ballet, Bharatnatyam & Jezz ballet.

Career:
When MTV India started its operations, Malaika was selected as one of the VJs. She started working as an interviewer & hosted shows like Club MTV.
Later on she co-hosted with Cyrus Broacha the shows like Love Line & Style Check. Later she entered the modeling career at the age of 17 & appeared in many advertisements.
Malaika Arora also appeared in many album songs like “Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha” & item numbers like Chaiyya Chaiyya.

On a television show Nach Baliye, Malaika was one of the three Judges on STAR One during mid of 2005. In the last quarter of 2006, again she continued as a judge in Nach Baliye season 2.
Malaika Arora performed many item numbers to set an example for the contestants. Again she appeared on STAR One for the show Zara Nachke Dikha as a judge. Later in 2010, she appeared as a judge on the show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
