Tell us a little about yourself

Manikanth Challa: I have pursued my under graduation in Information Science Technology in the United States from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University.

Along with having IT as my major, I chose a minor in theatre, which provided me with the scope to be more practical and realistic on dealing with his professional and personal life. 

I have worked with several start-ups like Dil Mil, Interplay Ventures, Trusto, LotusFlare, RevSquare, Founder Shield, Nomad Financial, and primarily with the Founders of the ventures with a closed quarter experience and birds-eye view on the vision and objective.

What are the key features and functionalities of Workruit that make it stand out from traditional resume-building methods?

What inspired you to create Workruit? Was there a specific problem or need that you identified?

Manikanth Challa: In my years of working with several start-ups, I noticed that the right employer and employee were only finding each other in a few serendipitous cases, which was the overall case with the Recruitment industry.

There was much waste of talent and opportunities lost. There is also a huge gap and disconnect in how job seekers look at showcasing their skillset, resume and become job ready.

This is an important factor in helping employers also understand more about a job seeker’s profile, strengths.

This leads to a major problem of irrelevancy and mismatch which often is a major challenge employers and job seekers face while looking at talent and opportunities.

This led me to start Workruit, a platform where employers and jobseekers could easily connect right at their fingertips. Workruit is an AI-based job search platform inspired by the trend of swipes. 

Next, we also launched Workruit Resume Builder, which allows users to create interactive resumes instantly.

We’ve enabled AI in a way that makes it domain-specific, compares the resumes to desired job descriptions that would provide analysis, and conduct an AI review of the resume.

This brings the best foot forward to the employers & helps job seekers to introduce themselves professionally. 

Workruit today has evolved into a Career and Recruitment platform helping job seekers build resumes, CVs and explore opportunities that are relevant and facilitate employers with finding quality talent.

Manikanth Challa: Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role in analysing and optimizing resumes on Workruit. It leverages machine learning algorithms to process vast amounts of data from various resumes and job descriptions, providing valuable insights and recommendations to job seekers.
