How does Finkeda bring financial services to people daily?

Manish Kumar Goyal: Finkeda’s goal is to help people in small towns and villages who don’t have easy access to  banks. Every day, we help them do things like send money, withdraw cash, or pay bills  through our local partners (Finkeda Saathis).

Our longterm dream is to give every Indian  easy access to all financial services—right from banking to insurance—on one simple  platform.

What problems did Finkeda face in the beginning?

Manish Kumar Goyal: When we started in 2019, many people didn’t trust digital payments. Internet was also slow  in rural areas. People were not used to doing banking without going to a bank. We solved this by:

• Working with local shopkeepers as trusted partners
• Making our system easy fast and reliable even with slow internet
• Teaching people about digital services in their own language

How have Micro ATM and AePS changed banking in villages?

Manish Kumar Goyal: People in remote areas can now do banking without going far. With just their Aadhaar, fingerprint and debit card they can withdraw cash or check balance at a nearby Finkeda  merchant.

These services helped a lot, especially during COVID, when people couldn’t travel. They  were very happy to get banking help near their homes.

4. How do you train your 45,000 merchants?

Manish Kumar Goyal: We train our partners when they join us and help them learn how to use our system. We  give them:

• Easy training videos
• Prompt Live support
• Regular updates and reward programs

We have an inhouse dedicated team of representatives along with sales force who are  always ready to support our Finkeda merchants in their respective regional languages. This helps them serve their community better.

5. How does Finkeda make digital payments safe and easy?

Manish Kumar Goyal: We make sure every transaction is secure. Our app is simple and easy, fast and reliable.

We  check every payment and offer customer support if anyone has a problem. This helps  people trust and use digital banking, even if it’s their first time.

Why does Finkeda offer insurance, travel, and bill payment?

Manish Kumar Goyal: People don’t just need to send money – they also need services like booking travel tickets,  paying bills, and buying insurance. That’s why we added these features. It saves them time  and money, and everything is available in one place, close to home.

What new technology is Finkeda working on?

Manish Kumar Goyal: We are improving our system by:

• Making offline payments work where internet is slow
• Giving better tools to merchants
• Using smart technology to stop fraud
• These updates will help us reach more people faster.

What is Finkeda’s plan for the next 5 years?

Manish Kumar Goyal: In the next 5 years, we want to:

• Grow to 3 lakh Finkeda Saathis across India
• Launch one super app with all services for end users
• Offer p2p loans and investment plans
• Work more with government bodies like NPCI etc and financial institutions • Teach more people how to use digital banking services

We want to make sure no one is left out of the financial system, no matter where they  live.
