As part of this endeavour, we invited yet another entrepreneur Interview with Mansi Rana, Entrepreneur & Managing Director of EZ Rankings for an exclusive interview with us.
Tell us a little about yourself ( i.e your Education, Experience, Family Background):
Mansi Rana: I am Commerce Graduate who started working at age of 19. I started my career in Sales with one of the Prominent International Call Centers & eventually over years, became a part of Digital Marketing.
With my Deep understanding of Sales & Digital Marketing (Operational side of business), I took the plunge & launched an Agency of my own i.e, EZ Rankings.
The pressing issue that motivated me to this step was the lack of Quality & Customer Service in several Digital Agencies.
It’s been 12 years of us in Business & we as a team are so proud of the efforts we take each day to ensure that ALL our clients irrespective Budgets are Heard, Catered & Delivered with nothing BUT High Quality Work & Premium Customer Service.
Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey:
Mansi Rana: My Journey like any other journey has had its moments of Joys & Tears. I will be brutally lying if I say that there were all hardships or it was all easy.
Entrepreneurial Journeys are unpredictable & one should take days as they come. Also, the most important step after identifying Why you are different from the rest & What you want to offer IS to build a team of people who dream together, rejoice together & hustle together.
After 12 years of running a few successful businesses, I can confidently say that you eventually learn to cope up with constant pressure so just don’t give up.
What service(s) or product(s) do you offer?
Mansi Rana: EZ Rankings is a 360 degree Digital Marketing Agency that offers services like SEO, SMO, PPC, Premium Link Building services, Design & Development services & App Development services.
What is unique about your label brand?
Mansi Rana: We are known for our Well Defined Processes, Superior Quality & Premium Customer Services we bring to the table.
What made you choose this type of business?
Mansi Rana: I got introduced to Digital 16 years back while it was all at a very nascent stage & got fortunate to work closely with both the International Market & Domestic Market.
There was a clear miss of quality & deliverables & this inspired me to combine my learnings & skills to launch a company that takes pride in What we offer & eventually created a niece for ourselves in Digital Space.
What was your mission at the outset?
Mansi Rana: To offer Best of Services, all under One roof at Cost Effective Solutions & Superior Customer Service. I also wanted to build an organization that weighs EQ along with IQ.
How many employees in your organization?
Mansi Rana: Currently, there are close to 167.
What’s your company’s goals?
Mansi Rana: Our goals are simple. It is to get better each day. Be it in terms of improvisations, deliverables, client connect…become better than yesterday.
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Mansi Rana: Success can’t be measured without failures. We obviously made some errors & were quick to learn from them.
What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur?
Mansi Rana: My Kids. I truly wanted to spend more time with my new born & it motivated me to launch something of my own & increase my presence around them. Few Months down the line, there was an entire list of reasons that kept me going.
Key things to consider before starting a startup?
Mansi Rana: Money 🙂 Most startups fail because they budget badly. Always keep 6 months expenses as reserve & start. This will give you mental peace & sense of security.
Create a team of people that stand by you & you by them. This will give you a sense of belonging & pitch stronger. Identify your strengths & create set up around the same.
What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?
Mansi Rana: I have surely made mistakes but would not like to categorize as Big or Small because I learn my lessons.
Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs?
Mansi Rana: Be Genuine & Don’t look for ShortCuts & Always remember – No Pain, No Gain 🙂
