What specific initiatives do you believe should be prioritized in educational budgets to support AI integration?
Mridu Andotra: If we’re serious about preparing the next generation for the future, educational budgets must focus on three key areas:
1. Building digital infrastructure – Schools, colleges, and universities need access to AI-powered learning tools.
2. Investing in AI-driven teaching faculty – We need highly trained AI educators who can integrate AI into curricula, teach students about cutting-edge advancements, and ensure they stay ahead in the global AI race.
3. Funding AI research labs – Without the necessary hardware—GPUs, high-performance chips, and supercomputers—our brightest minds will have no choice but to conduct breakthrough research abroad. If we want to be a global leader in AI, we must empower young researchers to innovate here, publish groundbreaking papers, and contribute meaningfully to the global AI landscape.

3. Be relentless. There will be challenges—funding, adoption barriers, resistance to change—but if you believe in the future you’re building, keep pushing forward.
