Interview with Fitness expert Mukul Nagpaul, Founder of Pmftraining
Mukul Nagpaul is the Founder of Pmftraining which is aimed towards empowering people to achieve their fitness goals through Personalised Coaching.
His Life Goal is to empower at least 1 Crore people to achieve their health and fitness goals which include helping them lose fat, be more confident about their bodies, living a healthier lifestyle while spreading love and happiness all around.
Mukul has done B.com from Punjab University and even though after getting 95 percentile in CAT Entrance Exam he sticked to his passion of Fitness over an MBA.
Mukul has trained Celebrities like Murali Kartik, Malini Ramani, Gauri Karan etc. and is a Certified Personal Trainer from American Council on Exercise and has done various International Certifications over his career of 13 years.
Can you tell us about your background and experience as a personal trainer?
Mukul Nagpaul: I’ve been in the fitness industry for more than 15 years and it has been my privilege to empower individuals towards better health.
I started off as a part-time aerobics instructor while pursuing B.COM, but convincing my business-oriented family about my career choice was not easy.
However, I persisted and worked hard to help countless individuals reach their fitness goals, earn accolades, and earn recognition in the industry.
It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
What inspired you to become a personal trainer and start PMF Training?
Mukul Nagpaul: Sports and Fitness have always been a major part of my life, and I even played badminton at the All India level.
However, in my final year of school, I discovered that my true calling was helping others achieve their fitness goals.
After working for others for almost a decade, I founded PMF Training in 2017. My aim in creating PMF was to provide a hybrid of online and in-person coaching to individuals all over the world.
I humbly offer my expertise and experience to help others on their journey towards a healthier and happier life.

What is your philosophy when it comes to nutrition and its role in achieving fitness goals?
Mukul Nagpaul: At PMF Training, we understand the important role nutrition plays in achieving fitness goals. That’s why we create personalized nutrition plans based on your body type and lifestyle.
Our plans focus on healthy eating with occasional indulgences to increase adherence. We provide guidance on the number of meals you should have, whether intermittent fasting or vegetarianism would be beneficial, and offer a list of foods that work for you.
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and research in the industry?
Mukul Nagpaul: As a fitness professional, I understand the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest industry knowledge and trends.
That’s why I make it a priority to attend fitness conferences and complete a Fitness certification every year.
By doing so, I am continually expanding my expertise and providing our trainees with the most reliable and effective information
How do you motivate and inspire your clients to stay committed to their fitness journey?
Mukul Nagpaul: We recognize the individuality of our trainees and communicate with them in a way that resonates with their preferences and interests.
Whether someone thrives on hard challenges or prefers community-oriented exercises, we adapt our approach accordingly to provide tailored motivation that aligns with their biology.
How do you assess and track progress for your clients? What methods or tools do you use?
Mukul Nagpaul: Our PMF Training app allows us to keep a close eye on our trainees’ body composition, measurements, pictures, food intake, and activity levels.
By doing so, our coaches can easily track their progress and provide personalized feedback and motivation to ensure that their goals are met.
What do you consider the biggest challenges in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals, and how do you address them?
Mukul Nagpaul: At the end of the day, results are what we all strive for. However, following generic workout and diet plans can lead to frustration and even push people towards unhealthy shortcuts.
That’s where understanding the unique biology of each individual comes in. By tailoring guidance to their specific biological needs and lifestyle, we aim to help people achieve their goals in a sustainable and fulfilling way.
What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur
Mukul Nagpaul: I am on a mission to empower a minimum of 1 Crore people to achieve weight loss and confidence. I acknowledge that I can’t do this alone, so I’ve decided to become an entrepreneur and join forces with other passionate coaches and individuals to achieve this goal together.

Mukul Nagpaul: I’m passionate about health and fitness, and love sharing my knowledge with others on my Instagram page plus writing articles for leading newspapers and magazines.
I strive to create clear, concise and informative posts that empower others to achieve their health and fitness goals.
What do you believe is the key to maintaining long-term fitness and a healthy lifestyle?
Mukul Nagpaul: Developing a routine of regular exercise and healthy eating can turn these actions into automatic habits, like brushing your teeth every morning.
What matters is consistent effort over time, rather than short-lived extremes. By making small changes and sticking with them, healthy habits can become second nature for a lifetime.
What is your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs
Mukul Nagpaul: Your top priority should be discovering what you’re passionate about and leveraging that passion to assist others. If you do this consistently over an extended period, financial rewards will naturally follow.
