Neal Mohan is a New YouTube CEO With Some Interesting Background Information. He Is Another Indian-American Leading a Tech Company

On Thursday, another name was added to the list when Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, announced her resignation and named Neal Mohan as her replacement.
The firm’s chief product officer since 2015, Mohan, an Indian-American, joined the company in 2007. He will now serve as the SVP and new CEO of YouTube.
Neal will be a fantastic leader for the video sharing platform, according to Wojcicki, who gave the following justification for her decision:

Details about the new YouTube CEO that are interesting
Mohan graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and later earned an MBA there as an Arjay Miller Scholar, an honour bestowed to the top 10% of their class with the highest GPA.
He formerly held positions at Google and Microsoft in addition to his current position at YouTube. Mohan began his career in 1996 with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), and in 2002 he joined the startup NetGravity, which was subsequently purchased by the Internet advertising company DoubleClick.
Mohan completed a four-month internship with Microsoft. He joined Google in March 2008 and remained there till November 2015.
During his time there, he oversaw Google’s Display and Video advertising divisions and was in charge of the company’s YouTube, Google Display Network, AdSense, AdMob, and DoubleClick ad tech product offerings.
Since 2015, Neal has served as YouTube’s Chief Product Officer. Since then, he has established an excellent product and UX team, been a key player in the introduction of some of our biggest products, such as YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Premium, and Shorts, and has headed our Trust and Safety team, ensuring that YouTube upholds its duty as a global platform.
In addition to this, he will join the Board of Directors of Stitch Fix, a well-known online personal styling business, in October 2020.
Also, he is a member of the board of directors for 23andme, a company that was created by Susan Wojcicki’s sister Anne and ex-wife Sergey Brin.
