Interview with Neha Rastogi, Women entrepreneur, Co-Founder and COO of Agatsa
Neha Rastogi is the Founder and COO of Agatsa. Having over a decade’s experience creating affordable and technologically advanced healthcare products, possess strong leadership skills.
Besides being a Founder of the company, she also built the prototype of its flagship product, the SanketLife ECG monitor.
SanketLife is today’s first choice for swift and accurate ECG screening, verified by doctors in just 10 minutes.
Neha has also been recognised by Forbes India as Self Made Women. She has won various prestigious awards – ‘Women Entrepreneur Award’ by TIE, ‘Digital Women Award‘ by ShethepeopleTV, ‘BIRAC-TiE Winner Award’ for women in entrepreneurial research in the field of biotechnology. Alongside being a mother of a 10 year old boy.
Being an engineer by heart, she always had a passion to develop something related to heart. She has done B Tech from Aligarh Muslim University and Business Administration and Management from Indian Institute of Management.
Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey
Neha Rastogi possess great leadership skills with over an experience of 10+ years. Being an engineer by herself, she has a great technical handholding and also studied management while being an entrepreneur.
India’s cardiac arrest scenario
Neha Rastogi: Keeping a close watch at the trend, young people in India are more prone to heart attacks nowadays. The Global Burden of Disease study estimate of age-standardized CVD death rate of 272 per 100 000 population in India is higher than the global average of 235 per 100 000 population.
According to government data, the prevalence of heart failure in India due to coronary heart disease, hypertension, obesity, diabetes and rheumatic heart disease ranges from 1.3 to 4.6 million.
Furthermore, sedentary lifestyle is one of the major contributor to cardiac arrest in India. However this increasing number can be kept under control by regularly monitoring heart health by portable ECG Machine at home.
What service(s) or product(s) do you offer?
Neha Rastogi We offer ECG devices by the name Sanketlife2.0. Apart from working on the ECG Device we have now extended our products into measuring SPo2 level, body temperature. We have also added wearable into our products such as patches and wearable to specify

Neha Rastogi Agatsa is in talks of raising Series B Funding. In the last round of series A funding, the company raised INR 125 Million
What made you choose this type of business?
Neha Rastogi There was an urgent need to revolutionize technology within healthcare industry. And we took the initiative to provide easily affordable and accessible medical devices to reach the goal of ‘’Healthcare for All’’. Being eingeneers has given us an added advantage to work on the vision we had dreamt of.
Cardiovascular monitoring in India: a need for a device
Neha Rastogi Cardiovascular is the leading cause of deaths in India and it has been estimated that the 80% of the heart gets damaged during the initial two hours of heart attack.
In such a scenario having a handy, easy-to-use and portable device can help in saving millions of lives before the onset of any repercussions.
What was your mission at the outset?
Neha Rastogi The Made in India company is on a mission to provide healthcare products at an affordable price with multiple features.
The startup is continuously working on including additional features in the existing product line to make India self-reliant and thus contributing towards increasing countries’ GDP.
We will continue to build products to minimize the healthcare gap existing within the ecosystem.
What’s your company’s goals?
Neha Rastogi The consumers are now well-informed and eager to stay healthy. Thus, taking in consideration the consumer mindset, we are including wearables and patches into our product line helping individuals to monitor their health 24/7.
Since our product is Made in India and to meet the ever- growing demand, we will be hiring more manpower to fulfil It. Alongside, we are opening a second production unit in Vizag to meet the increasing demand.
