An Interview with Nilay Mehrotra, CEO of Kindly Health

In an insightful interview with Nilay Mehrotra, CEO of Kindly Health, we explored his vision for transforming healthcare. Mehrotra shared his journey, emphasizing the importance of empathy and innovation in addressing patient needs.

Can you share the inspiration behind founding Kindly Health?

Nilay Mehrotra: Founded Kindly Health in 2020 because I wanted to address a problem that many guys were facing in silence but hardly discussed.

I observed how pervasive the stigma around men’s sexual health and fitness was while I was growing up in India.

Premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction are widespread problems, but most men are embarrassed to ask for help or do not have access to the proper care.

The idea to create something that not only offers practical answers but also normalizes discussing these issues is actually where the concept originated.

My goal was to develop a platform that eliminates the stigma, adds medical legitimacy, and makes the entire process easy, private, and judgment-free.

The foundation of Kindly is the concept of utilizing telemedicine to close that gap by providing professional consultations and FDA-approved, clinically supported treatments from the convenience of one’s own home.

In order to provide something genuinely customized and comprehensive, we also went one step further and combined the knowledge of Ayurvedic components with contemporary formulas.

Kindly is more than simply a brand; it’s about transforming men’s attitudes about their health. It’s about substituting hesitation for empowerment and support for quiet.

I really think that men’s confidence, relationships, and general well-being all improve when they are happy with their health. I intended Kindly to have that effect, and it still motivates us every day.

Can you discuss any innovative products or services that Kindly Health is currently developing or planning to launch?

Nilay Mehrotra: At Kindly, creativity is central to what we do. We’re always looking for methods to improve the efficacy, speed, and ease of integration of sexual wellness products into contemporary lifestyles.

We’re concentrating our R&D efforts on items that meet the changing needs of males, who are increasingly seeking results that are not only dependable but also time-efficient.

Drawing from key insights gained through previous challenges and successes, we’ve refined our approach to innovation.

Our team is developing groundbreaking formulations poised to transform men’s wellness—delivering better and faster results while integrating effortlessly into everyday lifestyles.

We envision a future where cutting-edge science meets practical, user-centric design, and this synergy remains the cornerstone of our ongoing work.

Ultimately, our goal is to continue offering discreet, safe, and science-backed solutions that empower men to take charge of their well-being—with confidence and ease.

Kindly brief us about your company, its specialization, and the services that it offers

Nilay Mehrotra: Kindly Health is a next-generation men’s sexual wellness brand, built on the mission to make conversations around male health more open, accessible, and stigma-free.

Launched in 2020, we specialize in providing discreet, evidence-based solutions for concerns like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and overall male wellness.

What sets us apart is our unique approach that combines telemedicine, expert medical consultations, and clinically backed treatments—all delivered with complete privacy and convenience.

Our platform enables men to receive personalized care plans from the comfort of their homes, removing the traditional barriers of awkward in-person visits.

We also focus heavily on education and transparency. From FDA-approved medications to holistic, tailored wellness plans, everything we offer is backed by science and delivered with empathy.

Our subscription-based model ensures ongoing support and continuous care, allowing men to take control of their health with confidence.

At Kindly, we’re not just treating symptoms—we’re building a space where men feel supported, informed, and empowered to prioritize their well-being.

What advice would you give to men who may be hesitant to seek help or information regarding their sexual health?

Nilay Mehrotra: Feeling apprehensive about talking about personal health issues, particularly those pertaining to intimacy or performance, is quite normal. The first and most crucial thing to realize, though, is that you’re not alone.

At some point in their life, many men worry about their libido, endurance, fertility, or hormonal balance. How you decide to address those issues is what really makes you unique.

It’s completely natural to feel hesitant when it comes to discussing personal health issues—especially those related to intimacy or performance. But the first and most important thing to understand is this: you’re not alone.

Many men experience concerns at some point in their lives, whether it’s about libido, stamina, fertility, or hormonal balance. What truly sets you apart is how you choose to respond to those concerns.

My advice? Normalize the conversation first, at least for yourself. Like heart health or fitness, sexual wellbeing is a vital component of your total health. Asking for assistance is a show of responsibility and self-respect, not weakness.

Today, there are more private, easily available, and nonjudgmental services than ever before, including telemedicine platforms and accredited wellness companies that offer dignified, scientifically supported solutions for men’s intimate health.

Additionally, keep in mind that early intervention and prevention are effective strategies. Early intervention can help you avoid more serious problems later on and enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

In the end, making the initial move—whether it’s reading trustworthy material, consulting an expert, or simply confiding in a trusted person—can have a profound impact. Your health is worth it.

How important is education in your mission at Kindly Health, and what initiatives do you have in place to promote it?

Nilay Mehrotra: At Kindly Health, education is at the heart of our purpose. In the realm of intimate wellness, which is sometimes tainted by stigma, false information, and silence, we think that raising awareness is the first step toward empowerment.

In addition to offering effective choices, we also want to establish a secure, reliable atmosphere where people may feel educated, heard, and encouraged as they pursue their own wellness goals.

To achieve this, we’ve launched several initiatives focused on education:

Product Transparency & Guided Use: Every Kindly product is supported with detailed usage guides, ingredient insights, and science-based benefits to ensure customers not only use them effectively but understand why they work.

Inclusive, Non-Judgmental Communication: From our tone of voice to visual storytelling, we intentionally create an environment that’s welcoming and inclusive, helping to reduce shame and encourage proactive self-care.

We view education as a component of everything we do, from community involvement to product creation, rather than as a stand-alone pillar.

How do you approach partnerships and collaborations within the healthcare and wellness sectors?

Nilay Mehrotra: We believe that collaborations are essential to bringing about significant change in the healthcare and wellness sector.

Our strategy has always been to partner with organizations that have extensive medical knowledge, legitimacy, and a common goal of providing easily accessible, stigma-free care.

We are honored to have Apollo Hospitals, one of the most reputable healthcare systems in India, as an investor.

Their support not only fortifies our clinical underpinnings but also offers valuable strategic insights into the responsible expansion of healthcare innovation.

Thanks to Apollo’s broad reach and longstanding tradition in patient care, our digital-first, patient-centric approach is in line with the highest medical standards.

In conclusion, Mehrotra shares the challenges faced and lessons learned along the way, highlighting the importance of innovation and empathy in transforming patient care. His leadership inspires a future where health and wellness are accessible to all.
