Zomato has revealed in its 2022 trend report that a customer spends Rs. 6.96 lakhs total discount received and another customer from Pune during the year Rs. 28 lakh orders have been placed.

Every year food aggregators like Zomato and Swiggy announce the top ordering trends of the year. While there were many surprises in these reports, Zomato’s year-end report revealed that one customer ordered a pizza worth Rs 25,000 in a single day.
But even this jaw-dropping order was dwarfed by a man from Pune, who posted on the platform Rs. Food orders worth 28 lakhs were given.
Zomato posted on Instagram, “This is just Rs 36,42,17,44,48,38 less than Twitter’s price.” In another interesting statistic, a person from Delhi placed 3000 food orders in 2022, which amounts to 9 orders per day.
Yet another customer ordered 1,098 cakes from the food delivery aggregator, Zomato reported. The report further states that one lucky customer named ‘Reviver’ got a discount of Rs 6.96 lakh in 2022.
In a top food trend, Zomato said its customers ordered 186 biryani per minute in 2022, making the item the most hit item on Zomato’s menu.
Swiggy, which announced its 2022 trends in mid-December, said one of its customers from Bengaluru spent Rs. 16.6 lakhs worth of groceries, while another had a big Diwali celebration and spent Rs. 75,378 was ordered.
