Piyush Jain: The inspiration came from observing a gap in the Indian skincare market. While global brands offer exceptional products, their high price and limited availability make them inaccessible to many Indians.
I wanted to bridge this gap by introducing a brand that delivers high-performance, science-backed formulations at an affordable price. The idea was to make advanced skincare uncomplicated and accessible, catering to diverse skin types and concerns.
After over a decade in FMCG, I realized that Indian consumers deserved skincare products that matched international standards but felt relatable and reliable.
SkinInspired became my way of delivering global quality while addressing Indian market needs, with a focus on transparency, sustainability, and dermatological expertise.
How does SkinInspired ensure its products are suitable for all skin types and concerns?
Piyush Jain: Our formulations are driven by dermatological science and hero ingredients like Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, Salicylic Acid, and Vitamin C. Each ingredient is chosen for its proven efficacy in addressing specific concerns, from acne to dryness to scarring.
We invest significant time in R&D—spending over 1,000 hours perfecting each product—to ensure safety and effectiveness across skin types. Additionally, we prioritize simplicity by designing products that cater to universal needs while offering solutions for specific issues.
SkinInspired collaborates with leading dermatologists to continuously validate our formulations. This ensures that whether you have oily, dry, or combination skin, our products work seamlessly to enhance natural radiance.
Sustainability is a big concern today. How is SkinInspired contributing to a greener future?
Piyush Jain: Sustainability is at the core of our brand. From the beginning, we focused on using recyclable and spill-proof packaging to reduce waste. But sustainability doesn’t stop at packaging; it extends to our formulations as well.
We ensure that our ingredients are responsibly sourced and our production processes minimize environmental impact. Our goal is to make sustainable skincare the norm rather than the exception.

Our long-term vision is to empower every Indian to feel confident in their skin by providing not just products but also education and guidance.
Globally, we aspire to put Indian skincare on the map by showcasing how local brands can compete with international giants. Ultimately, SkinInspired is more than a brand—it’s a movement to redefine skincare as a balance of science, sustainability, and simplicity.
