How to Apply for PM Yuva Yojana: National Book Trust of India will select a total of 75 young writers under the PM Yuva 2.0 scheme.
December 28, 2022, New Delhi: PM Yuva Yojana is a Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s scheme for mentoring young authors. PM Yuva Yojana is being run for the youth preparing to set foot in the world of writing.
Under this, a PM Yuva Mentorship Scheme is being run to give young writers an opportunity to write on various subjects.
Young writers selected in this will be given Rs 50,000 per month as scholarship. Youth up to 30 years can participate in the scheme. The application process has started and the last date has been fixed as January 15.
Great opportunity for budding writers
In view of the significant impact of the first edition of PM Yuva Yojana with large scale participation of young and budding writers in Indian languages and English, applications are now invited from youth for PM Yuva Yojana.
This process has been initiated to train young and budding writers up to the age of 30 years to promote reading, writing and book culture in the country
75 writers will get 50,000 per month under PM Yuva Mentorship Scheme
A total of 75 authors will be selected by the National Book Trust of India through an all India competition.
Under the mentorship scheme, at the end of training and guidance, a total of Rs 3 lakh will be given to each selected young writer for a period of six months at the rate of Rs 50,000 per month as scholarship.
Can apply for 22 languages
Young writers from 22 languages listed in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution can participate in the PM Yuva 2.0 scheme.
These languages are included- English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Urdu, Malayalam, Manipuri, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Konkani, Marathi, Nepali, Santhali, Maithili, Dogri, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Bodo.
PM Yuva Yojana Registration system
The application process has started for aspiring young writers. The last date for accepting applications has been fixed as 15 January 2023.
Young applicants can apply by visiting the official website https://innovateindia.mygov.in/yuva/ and clicking on ‘Click here to submit’ at the bottom left.
