Pratik Kataria: In the dynamic world of real estate and investments, my journey has been nothing short of exhilarating. As a second-generation business leader and entrepreneur, I found my calling within the family venture, Sainath Developers – The House of Kataria, a name synonymous with trust and excellence in the real estate sector.
Founded by my father, Mr. Kanaiya D. Kataria, in 1986, Sainath Developers has a storied more than a three and a half-decade legacy, with more than 1500 families finding their dream homes through our projects. Together with my brother, Kunal Kataria, we’ve persistently cultivated and grown this heritage, motivated by our fervor for the industry.
My limitless vigor and passion have driven me to venture into a wide array of investment opportunities, resulting in my role as an Angel Investor for several start-ups.. I firmly believe in the power of diversified assets, not only for financial gain but also for gaining insights into different skill sets as an Entrepreneur.

Pratik Kataria: Indeed, the real estate sector in the state is currently at the intersection of various significant trends and promising opportunities.
Infrastructure Development: The state is experiencing notable infrastructure projects, encompassing major endeavors in tier 1 & 2 cities and linking key cities within the state through extensive road networks. These advancements are unveiling fresh areas for real estate investment, development, and expansion, offering opportunities for developers.
Affordable Housing: The demand for affordable housing in Maharashtra remains robust due to population growth and urbanization. Developers are focusing on creating affordable housing projects to meet this demand, with government incentives providing further opportunities.
Commercial and Industrial Growth: Maharashtra stands as a prominent center for commercial and industrial operations. The growing influx of businesses is fueling the need for commercial real estate and office spaces, especially in cities such as Mumbai and Pune.
NAREDCO Maharashtra’s Role: NAREDCO Maharashtra is actively engaged in streamlining regulatory processes, advocating for policies that support the industry, and advancing the cause of sustainable and affordable housing. Pratik Kataria: Through a rich legacy consisting of 20 projects and more than 30 buildings, we have transformed numerous individuals into delighted homeowners. Among our accomplishments, one project that holds a special place is Sainath Vrindavan.

Continuously stay informed about shifts in regulations, financing alternatives, and investment tactics to stay competitive. The field progresses, emphasizing the importance of keeping abreast of the most recent technologies and trends.

The ongoing urbanization, business expansion and infrastructural development continue to support real estate as an asset and helps in driving demand for properties upwards. I aim to have a significant impact on shaping this future by supporting inventive and sustainable development practices, encouraging cooperation among stakeholders, and advocating for policies that benefit the industry.
Could you tell us about any upcoming projects or initiatives from Sainath Developers that we can look forward to in the near future?
Pratik Kataria: We have our focus set on a few redevelopment and greenfield projects in the eastern suburb of Mumbai. Our land holdings in Yeoor (Thane), Kharbav (Mumbai Metropolitan Region), and Bengaluru will provide us with substantial real estate endeavours in the years to come. The opportune future looks promising for us as a group.
