Praveen Tiwari: I (Praveen Tiwari),  hold a diverse educational background that has played a major role in shaping my journey. I completed my Environment Management course at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.

Following that, I pursued an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and Finance. My professional experience includes a stint at HSBC Bank, where I gained valuable insights into the corporate world. Hailing from Noida, I developed a keen interest in entrepreneurship during my time in the banking sector, leading me to identify the untapped potential in the water industry.

I recognized not only the business prospects but also the opportunity to contribute positively to environmental sustainability. It was this realization that prompted me to co-found Netsol Water, leveraging my academic and professional background to address the growing challenges of water scarcity and pollution.

My family has been a pillar of support throughout this journey, and their encouragement has played an instrumental role in driving my aspirations forward.

Can you share with us the inspiration behind co-founding Netsol Water and how the company specializes in manufacturing water and wastewater treatment plants?

Praveen Tiwari: The inspiration behind co-founding Netsol Water stems from a twofold realization: a recognition of the existing gaps in the water sector and a strong belief in the potential for positive impact. During my time in the banking sector, I observed the pressing issue of water scarcity and pollution, especially in metropolitan areas like Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai.

This, coupled with my educational background in environment management and business administration, ignited my passion to contribute to a sustainable solution. I saw a chance to not only create a successful business but also to address critical environmental concerns.

Netsol Water specializes in manufacturing water and wastewater treatment plants by embracing cutting-edge technologies. Our mission was to develop innovative solutions that would not only treat wastewater effectively but also facilitate its reuse, particularly for gardening and horticulture purposes.

We understood the urgent need to combat water pollution and scarcity, and thus our team worked relentlessly to design systems that remove suspended solids and impurities from water. Our approach involves treating wastewater to a high standard, allowing it to be reused in various applications, and even working towards treating it to a level where it can be safely consumed.

Our product portfolio includes sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants, zero liquid discharge plants, reverse osmosis systems, water softener plants, de-mineralization plants, multi-grade and activated carbon filtration systems, iron removal filtration, microfiltration systems, and ultrafiltration systems, among others.

This strategy significantly reduces the environmental impact of waste disposal. Additionally, we’re proud to utilize Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, which employ semi-permeable membranes to purify water by removing impurities and contaminants.

This technology allows us to provide purified water suitable for various applications, both in industrial processes and for drinking purposes. We’ve also embraced advanced ultraviolet (UV) systems for water disinfection, using UV light to neutralize pathogens and microorganisms effectively.
