Rajesh Vaswani takes over as Chairman of CREDAI Ahmedabad

7^th August 2025, Ahmedabad: Rajesh Vaswani, Founder and Director of Venus Infrastructure, has taken over as the Chairman of CREDAI Ahmedabad, the apex body of real estate developers in the city.

Mr. Vaswani, who replaced outgoing Chairman Chitrak Shah, formally assumed the role on Thursday during the induction ceremony in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi. CREDAI National President Shekhar Patel, Quality Council of India (QCI) Chairman Jaxay Shah, and who’s who of the real estate sector were present on the occasion.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Vaswani said, “It is an honour to serve as CREDAI Ahmedabad chairman. Ahmedabad is poised for a new era of growth, and the real estate sector will play a vital role in shaping that future.

My focus will be on promoting innovation, quality, and transparency in the city’s booming real estate sector and enhancing coordination and collaboration with other stakeholders.”

Mr. Vaswani has over 35 years of experience in real estate and urban development. Under his leadership, Venus Infrastructure has emerged as one of the most prominent and innovative developers in Gujarat, with several landmark residential and commercial projects. He has been actively associated with CREDAI Ahmedabad for many years, most recently serving as its Director.

Among other office bearers of CREDAI Ahmedabad, Aalap Patel took over as President, Sanket Shah as President-Elect, and Ankur Desai as Honorary Secretary.

The ceremony also witnessed the induction of office bearers of CREDAI Gujarat, with Paresh Gajera taking over as Chairman and Tejas Joshi as President.
