Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to inaugurate IAF Heritage Centre in Chandigarh

May 8, 2023: In a move to preserve and showcase the glorious history of the Indian Air Force (IAF), the Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, is set to inaugurate the IAF Heritage Centre in Chandigarh.

This one-of-a-kind centre will serve as a tribute to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve in the IAF.

The Heritage Centre will feature rare photographs, historical documents, artifacts, and aircraft models that will take visitors on a journey through the rich legacy of the IAF.

The exhibits will highlight the IAF’s role in India’s wars and peacekeeping missions, as well as its contribution to the nation’s development.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by senior officials of the IAF, defence personnel, and distinguished guests.
