I am Raju Kumar, a Marketing Team Leader with 3 years of experience in digital marketing. I hold an Engineering degree from IP University, Delhi, and completed an MA in English with B.Ed in English and Science from CRSU.
Born into a middle-class family, I understand the struggles individuals face in accessing affordable education and job opportunities.
Coming from a middle-class family, I understand the challenges individuals face in pursuing education and acquiring the necessary skills to secure employment opportunities.
That’s why I, along with my co-founder Priti Gupta, founded Reliqus Training Institute of Digital Marketing.
Our aim is to provide free courses and learning support to those who cannot afford the fees, offering 100% scholarships to individuals in need. We have helped 100s of aspiring in landing dream jobs for them.
How do you typically approach setting goals and objectives for your marketing team?
When it comes to setting goals and objectives for my marketing team, I take a collaborative and organized approach.
First, I make sure our goals are in line with the company’s overall objectives. Then, I assess where we currently stand as a team to identify areas for improvement. I involve my team members in the process to get their valuable input and create a sense of ownership.
We set SMART goals that are clear, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. By breaking down these goals into actionable steps and regularly reviewing our progress, we can adapt and stay on track. This approach keeps us motivated and focused on driving success for the team and the organization.
As a marketing team leader, how do you ensure that your team stays up-to-date with industry trends and new marketing strategies? How do you encourage continuous learning and professional development within your team?
As a marketing team leader, I place great emphasis on keeping my team well-informed about industry trends and new marketing strategies.
To encourage continuous learning and professional development, I organize training sessions, share relevant resources, and promote cross-functional collaboration.
I also support individual growth by creating personalized development plans, celebrating achievements, and setting a positive example through my own commitment to learning.
By fostering a culture of curiosity, exploration, and ongoing education, I ensure that my team stays up-to-date, adapts to changes in the industry, and delivers exceptional results.

By leveraging various content distribution channels and employing SEO techniques, I have successfully increased brand visibility, generated organic traffic, and nurtured customer relationships.

First, I conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-impact keywords and phrases.
Secondly, I ensure these keywords are strategically incorporated into website elements like titles, headings, and meta descriptions. Additionally, I focus on creating high-quality, informative, and engaging content that aligns with the search intent of the target audience.
Lastly, I prioritize user experience by optimizing site speed, improving mobile responsiveness, and enhancing overall website navigation. By combining these elements, I strive to achieve improved search engine visibility and a seamless user experience.
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Throughout my career as a digital marketer, I have encountered failures that have provided valuable lessons. One notable failure was when a social media campaign failed to generate the desired engagement and conversions.
From this experience, I learned the importance of thorough audience research and understanding their preferences. I also realized the significance of effective targeting and testing strategies before scaling campaigns.
Additionally, I learned the value of analyzing data and adjusting tactics accordingly. These failures taught me resilience, the need for continuous improvement, and the importance of embracing failures as opportunities for growth and learning in the dynamic field of digital marketing.
