Ram Saran Verma was born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling in a nearby town and went on to study agriculture at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi.

After completing his studies, he returned to his village and started farming on 6 acre of his ancestral land given by his father to him.

In year 1984 he went on a tour to Gujarat, Maharastra, Haryana, and Punjab in order to know in depth about their regional farming process and used tools and techniques.

He realized that the existing methods of farming were not efficient and were causing immense damage to the environment. He decided to find new and better ways of farming that would be beneficial for both the farmers and the environment.

In year 1984 he went on a tour to Gujarat, Maharastra, Haryana, and Punjab in order to know in depth about their regional farming process and used tools and techniques, on arriving back home he used those techniques in his farming and introduced banana cultivation, who earlier used to grow rice, sugarcane, musturd, etc.

After years of research and experimentation, Ram Saran Verma developed a unique method of farming that increased crop yields without damaging the environment. His method was based on the principles of organic farming and involved the use of traditional knowledge and techniques.

He named his method “Ramrajya” after the mythical kingdom of Lord Rama, where everyone lived in harmony with each other and nature.

Ram Saran Verma’s work has had a profound impact on Indian agriculture. His methods have been adopted by farmers all over the country, and have helped improve the lives of millions of people.
