Best recipe of Tomato soup – easy to prepare a delicious tomato soup recipe

This is just a simple recipe of Tomato soup, I think I shouldn’t describe anything about this. Very less quantity of fat and more taste for any time hunger.

Tomato soup is popular in all Indian restaurants. Whenever I see the menu of most of the Indian restaurants, I always get to see soup.

I sometimes wonder why they don’t have other varieties of popular vegetable soups like Vegetable soup, minestrone soup, Mushroom soup, or Spinach soup.

A simple homemade recipe that can be served with bread croutons, breadsticks, or mini toss also. Enjoy cooking.

Preparation time – 5 to 7 minutes
Cooking time – 10 to 12 minutes
Makes 2 servings

Ingredients to make Tomato Soup:

1 teaspoon oil ( I use Fortune Sunlite Refined Sunflower Oil)
1 teaspoon butter
(I used low-fat butter & sunflower oil)
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 onion chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup carrot chopped
1/2 cup bottle groud chopped
1/2 cup potato chopped
Salt to taste
8 to 10 mint leaves
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 tablespoon cornflour

To serve with:

Bread croutons

Method to make Homemade Soup:

  • In a small pressure cooker add oil and butter, and now add all ingredients excluding dry spices and cornflour.
  • Saute for 2 minutes and add salt to taste. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Let the pressure release and then churn when cool.
  • Strain and transfer to a saucepan. Add cornflour slurry and remaining spices. Let it boil for 4 to 5 minutes. Check the taste and serve hot Tomato Soup.

This homemade soup also gives you a good amount of vitamins A, C, K, potassium, and fiber. Selenium and Copper are two important nutrients in this homemade soup that have a range of tomato health benefits.
